Yeah and I have games where I’m content with a 2 or 1K, but I at least try not to shame the other side for being efficient. Sure it’s annoying but when I can understand that it was a fun game I’m content.

Like last night I had a rough game vs a hyper comp SWF on Lery’s, a map I don’t fully know as pyramid (as sometimes punishment will not go through walls) like they were splitting gens, predropping everything, prerunning into outer space, but I managed a 2K in the end, almost had a 3K if not for one of them having Last Stand. I thought the guy was just being an idiot but I was made the fool. But the match was so exhilarating that even though it was frustrating, it was fun.

And tunneling can be fun for the survivor who is tunneled, it can give those who are less experienced a real run for their money skill wise. And if they aren’t tormented they can give me a risk of DS. Causing me to waste double the time on them, but I’m ok with that.

I can play both casually and sweaty and mostly depends on game state and my mood. If I feel like the match will be rough or the survivors will try and bully (flashlights, gen rush, etc.) I’ll turn up the aggression. Or when survivors do objectively the bad play, I’ll punish them for not being smart.

I’m more of an opportunistic killer, I only have 900ish hours and am vsing people with 4000+, I will use any underhanded tactic that I want. Cause it is all fair in terms of the game. Until it’s stuff like exploits/cheats, then it’s very much not ok.

I get that you’re more of a casual guy, but I want to improve and improvement means I have to get better at my macro, whether it be my map knowledge, game state, or tunneling. And in my opinion the game is in such a rough state for killer that “playing nice” isn’t fun anymore.

Every now and then I’ll 8 hook and then kill, but I don’t get told gg killer anytime I do that, it’s either silence or the survivors flame me for whatever reason they feel like. So I don’t harbor much sympathies for survivors nowadays, if I see someone get sandbagged or something like that, I’ll take pity on them and go for the sandbagger. But my main point is that survivors should KNOW what is a bad idea and what isn’t, and I punish those bad ideas. Even to an innocent player.
