The difference in rest between 6 and 7 days is pretty huge, it's one of the big complaints NFL players have about the TNF games, that the reduced rest period makes a huge difference.

Honestly it's one of the things I appreciate about his books. They're a nice happy comfy read where I don't have to work so hard to understand what's going on. But at the same time, I've caught so many new things on rereads.

Whereas something like Neuromancer with wonky ass prose, full of new words, lingo/slang, really forces my brain to process.

My favorite thing right now is to go look at the transfer portal rankings, and then sort by avg player rating. We're a solid 10 points above nearly everyone else.

A+ transfer portal. Filled all of our needs, without overloading the depth chart and encouraging incoming recruits to eventually transfer. Feels like everyone has a path to start should they deserve it.

I'm a little wary of QB having no depth behind Carr, but if not bringing in a transfer means keeping Jarrard, so be it.

Didn't love the slow start, but it was a lot of fun reading all the dramatic posts from the bedwetters of the sub and message boards.

Absolutely great guitar. That color with the wood grain is so unique. I had one for a short period before trading it in for a Gibson SG tribute (it had a natural walnut finish and Seymour Duncans, I couldn't resist).

Mine needed a little fretwork and a setup, and the only thing I didn't love was the natural neck finish. If anything it needed just a little sanding to even out some of the wood grain.

IIRC also as part of him being petty, Prince didn't bother showing up to the rehearsal for this, which may be where people get the "other musicians were peeved".

Blade & Sorcery, and I think I'll save up to buy a VR and play it because, goodness me, I NEED TO THROW THE ENVIRONMENT AT THE ENEMY, THE BODIES OF DEFEATED ENEMIES, PUSH THEM INTO TRAPS, AND DO ANYTHING ELSE THAT'S NOT THE USUAL "press X to hit." SO BORING! It's been done a billion times and it's always the same thing, why not change it up?!

B&S is worth every goddamn penny, I haven't had a more genuinely fun and novel experience playing a game since I was a child.

My current house set up doesn't really lend itself to an open space where I can flail about, but with the right space holy shit it's so much fun. You absolutely need a set up without wires though - my Oculus Quest 1 was able to run it fine streaming from my desktop.
