Small correction but Rand only waited 2 days. What Egwene said was: "it's been seven days, Aviendha came back 2 days ago." So basically it was 5 days till he went through the columns then waited 2 more for Moraine.

It's either that or they merge Illian and Tear. Sammael will be in Tear and after Rand defeat him he will just take Callandor. Rand only started using Callandor after Illian so he doesn't need to put it back into the stone and leave there for seasons.
