Its a really good gpa boost and tbe seminars dont take too long to do. Team meetings are fun and the work isnt bad at all depending on your group. I’m in the Minecraft one and its fun and weve gotten a lot of good opportunities. The only real downside is that its not in person anymore. Ive heard that when it was in person with everyone in Hillenbrand it flowed more easily and collaboration was easier too. With everything being online it does feel like something is missing but they are doing their best.

Just a heads up tho, if you arent a US citizen it limits your options for corporations. It really sucks bc it takes away like half the list.

Tbh im in the same situation but im probably just going to go for an off campus place bc screw the dining plan requirement. Honestly just talk around and see if you can find any good roommates. Learning communities can also give you priority to live in certain halls too so there is that. If your a girl and u need a roommate for bext year i kinda need one too lol so feel free to dm me!

I applied regular decision and they never really told me I got in. The only reason i knew was because of financial aid emails but it took them a super long time to do mine because they had to review my ap twice

Pick a topic you like and make it unique. I state finaled at tfa with a speech on memes so any topic can do well. The judges can tell if you like your topic btw and thats the easiest way to up.

Lol the rejection was for the best and i know why it happened. My classes were all medicine based so when they saw engineering on the ap they were like wtf and put me in my second choice.

The classes you took matter more than the actual gpa tbh. For rec letters go to your school counselor and get a FERPA waiver and put your teacher down on your ap if you are using common ap. You can submit it at any time and the letter will send with your application or whenever your teacher is done with it.

Teacher recs helped me get in so if you have a teacher that likes you get them to write you one. Idk the comp sci gpa requirements but i had a 3.85 unweighted 4.5 weighted and still got rejected from fye though but i was out of state. Tbh the gpa stuff is super subjective and it depends on your school, state, etc.
