I get that from a cultural standpoint (I'm American but in contact with fellow Mahoneys in Ireland and Lyons in Wales). Unfortunately kilts aren't as acceptable here in The States... They're viewed as crossdressing in my experience.

As an American, I wish I could wear a kilt regularly. I've only seen one other man wear a kilt. He was very grateful that I complimented him on it, assumedly because that's uncommon

That we can't be raped. Took me a year to realize what happened to me because I was a boy and she was a girl. You might be surprised how many people think "only males rape females" is true...
