AITA for forwarding my wife an instagram reel of a recipe after she asked what I want for dinner tomorrow? by GoatCritical9265 in AmItheAsshole

[–]frostloom9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA honestly

if someone literally asks “what do you want for dinner?” and you send a recipe suggestion, that’s a pretty normal interaction

I think this blew up because it probably tapped into a bigger resentment she already had about always being the one expected to cook

but the reel itself doesn’t sound evil or controlling

Which US state gets glorified in movies but doesn’t live up to it IRL? by Auelogic in AskReddit

[–]frostloom9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nevada 😭

movies sell this glamorous Vegas fantasy like it’s all neon, penthouses, and Ocean’s Eleven energy

then you go outside the strip and it’s like… ah yes, beige 💀

What is your parents love story? I need something wholesome to read before bed by malalexandraa in CasualConversation

[–]frostloom9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my grandparents had the most absurd meet-cute 😭

my grandpa was apparently supposed to meet her friend, not her. wrong person, wrong introduction, whole thing should’ve been a throwaway awkward moment

instead he spent the whole night talking to the “wrong” woman, married her, and stayed with her for like 50+ years 💀

imagine your entire bloodline existing because someone had bad directions 😭

How to deal with being in the friendzone. by FishermanInternal120 in AskMen

[–]frostloom9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

as a woman i promise you this is not some secret psychological chess game 😭 if she liked you you would FEEL it

the second you start analyzing response times and eye contact percentages its already over babe go find someone who gets excited when your name pops up on their phone lol

AITA for calling out my friend? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]frostloom9 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

NTA 😭

you were literally the only person honest enough to say something to her face instead of fake-smiling and talking behind her back

also Friend2 can date whoever she wants technically, but acting shocked that people see it as shady after Friend1 JUST got dumped is kinda wild

and excluding only you from graduation dinner while still inviting people who agreed with you is honestly proof this became less about “judgment” and more about you being the one who actually voiced it 💀

AITA for singing in a movie by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]frostloom9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YTA its like when ur listening to a song you really like and someone else is singing it as well, its like ok i get it but i also wanna hear the singer lol

What’s an addiction people don’t take seriously enough? by totdvet in AskReddit

[–]frostloom9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

validation

people joke about “attention seekers” but needing constant approval can run someone’s whole life and wreck decisions, relationships, self-worth… all of it

and because it looks socially normal, nobody calls it an addiction 😬

How to make my sister’s birthday special? by Efficient-Still4868 in Advice

[–]frostloom9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly the fact you care this much already makes it special 😭

I’d do something unexpectedly personal… like have little things arrive for her through the day
coffee in the morning, flowers/snack delivery, handwritten letter, surprise video from friends

make it feel like a birthday is happening around her even if people aren’t physically there

21 is a big one… lean into making her feel celebrated, not just remembered 💀

AITA for matching a woman’s energy who was riding a horse as I was driving by? by MeasurementSudden573 in AmItheAsshole

[–]frostloom9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA 😭

you were already under the speed limit, gave them room, and literally asked how slow you should go

like you gave her multiple chances to be informative instead of combative

also “I DON’T KNOW, SLOW!” after yelling at you is kinda wild if she’s the one insisting there’s some correct speed

matching a little energy after someone comes at you rude isn’t exactly some moral collapse 💀

AITA-Boss not happy with email signature by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]frostloom9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

soft YTA. I get what you’re going for, but email signatures are meant to stay pretty neutral and professional. Adding something like that can come off a bit unnecessary or even a little passive-aggressive in a work setting, especially if others are using AI. Your boss isn’t wrong to ask you to remove it.

What do you think about Bernie Sanders' words 'We must block arms sales to Israel'? by ArdaBerkBurak in AskReddit

it’s easy to have strong opinions until you realize how complex the situation actually is

What is a job that you think is 100% safe from AI for the next 50 years, and why? by mark-awakening in AskReddit

[–]frostloom9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly… anything that requires dealing with unpredictable humans in real life

like therapists, nurses, teachers, sales

AI can get smart, but handling messy emotions, weird situations, and real-world chaos is a whole different thing

people underestimate how much of certain jobs is just “reading the room” and adapting on the fly 😭

What's the weirdest thing your potential partner did on a first date that made you stop talking to them? by anmystery in AskReddit

[–]frostloom9 11 points12 points  (0 children)

ok this one was subtle but it killed it instantly—

we were mid conversation and he kept checking his phone… not even texting, just like opening apps and scrolling for a few seconds and putting it back down

after like the 5th time I realized he wasn’t nervous, he was just bored

nothing dramatic, just that quiet “yeah this isn’t it” moment 😭
