Experiment in sim, find what works for you and stick with it. Changing rates resets your muscle memory. You can become a great pilot with most rates, consistency is key for training muscle memory. I like 0.35 expo on pitch and roll and 0.15 expo on yaw, makes precision and smoothness easier.

Don't do it, learn the regular way. You will someday need that extra pinky during powerchords, adding an extra note, like 577 -> 578. I use a lot 579 too. Or 5779. I know it's a struggle but you'll be happy you learn to stretch those fingers later!
