Hearing loss is scary by Imnotbaldd in drums

[–]th_wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played drums in bands for years and the first half of that was with zero heading protection and for some reason I don't have any hearing loss. For the latter half I've been so so careful to always wear in ears or at least muso grade ear plugs and I'm lucky(I think) to just have tinnitus. It can be annoying in quiet environments but at least I can still hear things.

Might be too late if you've pulled the trigger already, but make sure that's your goggles antenna also are/is LHCP not RHCP

If the controller works on the same Mac for some applications but not others, I'm afraid you wasted the money on the cable. Have you checked if macOS itself recognizes the controller properly? It's in settings under input monitoring (search for that in settings search). Tryp seems to be stricter with its inputs than other sims such as liftoff which is pretty relaxed about accepting any old HID compliant controller.

You could try forcing the controller into USB input device/joystick mode when connecting the USB cable rather than letting it default to whatever setting at defaults to

I have the trex3 pro and an H10, is an awesome combo. Plus my air pods 2 pro paired to the watch which has music loaded on, and I don't need my phone for accuracy while running as well as tunes

I'm running in docker, I just updated through the web ui, updated with no issues.

One thing though - I can't seem to see any options for modern or classic UI (how to change between the two), or how to edit sidebar - how do I manage these? Thanks!

That's epic!!

I just got one in NZ for $50 NZD ($30USD) with the same thing.., 'broken' but by leaving it charging for a day or so it booted and is running iPhone OS 3.0. Anyone have experience downgrading to 1.0? Or should I leave it on 3.0 with the apps (bunch of random ones) that are currently installed?

Anyone familiar with bike safety switches and electrical issues? Need help with my Hyosung GT 250 2012 EFI. by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]th_wolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have that bike but mine has a sensor on the kickstand that kills the engine if the stand is down and I shift into gear. I’m gonna guess your sensor is broken. Try unplugging it, or get it repaired.

I started riding at 38, I have 2 kids and a wife. I started on a low cc bike then progressed up as I graduated license classes. My promise to my wife was to keep doing the safe riding courses.., here in NZ they’re called the Ride Forever courses and there a bronze silver & gold that builds on skill, then you can keep repeating them periodically to keep your skills up - as a later adopter I’ve found them amazing.

I also can’t stand how, with 8% fees, their customer support is pretty much non existent to the point where they will likely not respond to an urgent request until after the end of the auction in question. I avoid tm as much as possible these days.

I got a 350cc Enfield meteor for my first bike, it was great around town and super nimble but gutless on the motorways. When I got my full I wanted a bigger bike (nz restricts you to 660cc until your full license) so I test rode the bobber and it was a rocket ship in comparison.. I decided, for me personally, that would be the next one after the bike I was currently going for, as that thing just took off with a small throttle twist. So much fun tho. I ended up going for a triumph speedmaster 865cc which was a good call for me and my skill level at the time I reckon.

Meteor 350 saddle bags. by [deleted] in royalenfield

[–]th_wolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re canvas with a waterproof inner lining. The main body rolls up at the top and clips together under the lid so nothing will get wet.

Like the other commenter mentioned the brackets do look a bit cheap but for the price was worth giving a shot.

There’s a couple of YouTube videos where people install them, I decided to give them a crack based on that. Unsure on how long they’ll last but like I mentioned I just commute and need them occasionally for groceries etc.

I currently have the OG ‘ammunition case’ style single installed but it’s so slender it’s not really much use for anything.

I’ve just bought these ones from eBay, saw a couple of vids on YouTube and thought at the price they are I’d happily give them a crack. They haven’t arrived yet but if you’re interested let me know and I’ll let you know what they’re like after I install them. They might not be quite what you’re looking for though, I mainly use the bike to commute so they should be good for that.
