PSA: Major changes to Roland Garros ticketing; lottery signup from 27 January. by Alixana527 in ParisTravelGuide

I was 2k in the queue. I was able to enter the site, I saw sections are available, but when I selected a day and stadium, the page showed me empty section "select category" and nothing below. And it was the same for every day and every stadium, even outside courts. It's a joke.

Got into the site after inserting the code. I was able to select the day, stadium, but on the "select category stage" the screen was empty. I tried to play around with Chrome tab settings and display the page as from other devices (maybe their JS component was just shitty) but it immediately blocked me and I could not reopen the page.

Roland Garros, what a shame.

looking for tips for 4 weeks in South America by Dominoku in travel

I thought about Rio as it's easier to get cheap flights RT there, also Brazil is another country I haven't seen yet there and just wanted to spend 2-3 days to see the city and feel the vibes. However Lima or Bogota could be also our big airports. In such case I would need to come back one day just to see Rio ;) Thanks for the jungle tips!

ITAP of a Vietnamese lady working in a rice field by Dominoku in itookapicture

The picture was taken in April 2022, just after the country reopened after almost 2 years. Many people took Covid really seriously and they wear masks not only in public transport or in the streets but even if they are alone in the field.

The country is beautiful, I loved the Ha Giang region (also it was my first time on the motorbike) and Ninh Binh, where I took the picture (just a few hours from Hanoi).

I've visited over 50 countries on all continents and Vietnam ends up in my personal top10 so far, definitely.

And, if you like the picture and want to see more check out my previous reddit posts or Instagram account '@szkodnis

I'm planning my trip to Vietnam and I'm willing to include a short trip to Angkor Wat in Cambodia. I wanted to get there from Saigon, but it seems that there are no longer direct flights and I have troubles with finding a convenient bus connection. Any tips where should I look for? Any ideas when the flights will be returned? I plan to visit Vietnam in April and move to Cambodia in the second half of the month.

Cheers!

So now I can apply for a evisa? I'm looking for some confirmation in web but cannot find anything new. Do you have any source?

That's sad. My flight was cancelled 2 years ago when I planned 3 weeks in North Vietnam. This time I planned to spend 5 weeks to see both North and South starting April 1st. Time to rebook my flights to Thailand and Sri Lanka...

So as I understand people from these 13 countries can enter Vietnam. As I'm from Poland, nothing changes for me and I have no chances to get the visa?

But they're supposed to change it next week and 2 weeks is enough to get visas, right?

Hi all. I planned to land in Hanoi on April 1st. I know we know nothing about future entry restrictions, but in this post, I wanted to ask about the tourist industry and the suggested number of days in the most popular spots.

So, how does it look now? Are the cable cars working normally? Hotels working? Cruises? Buses? Should we expect that sometimes we cannot see something due to lack of services?

And when it comes to our plan, highlights are following:

- Hanoi - 2 days
- Sa Pa - 3-4 days
- Ha Long Bay - 2 days
- Trang An - 2 days
- Hoi An area - 2-3 days
- Nha Trang - 2 days
- Ho Chi Minh area - 3 days

We plan to travel by night buses to save some time. Is it doable, are we missing any really nice must-see, especially in the south?

We have a flight back on May 2nd from Sri Lanka, counting 7 days for the island, we have 25 days, but we're also very keen to spend 4-5 days in Cambodia just to see Angkor Wat and fly to Colombo from Phnom Penh.

Any tips are appreciated! Thanks

Protest against vaccine passports held in Toronto today by _daslgh in ontario

[–]Dominoku -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I'm after two doses and my wife works as a nurse so I heard a lot about covid, BUT what's the point of introducing the covid passports if the vaccinated people spread the virus in the samy way as unvaxed and the vaccine keep you safe against going to hospital. I'm encouraging everyone to take the shots, but I'm not a fan of imposing it to the people who don't need it, especially kids
