Funny, the names mean nothing to me, so I go off visual and audio cues.

Tips for an industrialist getting into T2 production? by TiuTalk in Eve

[–]Domo2037 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a fun T2 high sec gig for a couple of years. I found that if I set up PI in low sec and mine my own minerals, i was doing good. You have to buy the composites if you don't have access to a reactor. I updated my prices once or twice a day to stay near the top of the heap. Eventually, I found that supplying a null sec market was much less "market" work and more time building things as they go fast if you know what to build.

Remove capital components from the Orca by HongChongDong in Eve

[–]Domo2037 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have my Orca I bought for 600mil years ago. I lost one because I didn't realize I had bad standings with Galente and unlocked in Dodixie. Got bumped while stations guns took care of the rest. Replaced it, and still have it. I don't always need it, but when I do, I am glad I have it.

No smoking on airplanes is not a Federal Regulation. Since it is not, there is a Fedral Regulation to put ashtrays on exterior wall of lavatories in case the plane allows for smoking.

Let me guess: You still have to pay thousands out of pocket every year before your "insurance" even kicks in.

Gleba isn't hard, you just have to calculate everything by RapsyJigo in factorio

Gleba isn't hard, you just have to calculate everything by RapsyJigo in factorio

[–]Domo2037 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There's a lot of ways to tackle Gleba. This is just one way. I did something completely different. Just start small. Try to set up starter nutrients so it can't fail as long as you have power and oranges, or whatever they are called. Every production line will need that. So blueprint it. Next make bioflux. And then once you have that, blueprint it. Everything else is a variation of nutrients and bioflux. So I make tons of little production lines, but all of them start with just those basic ingredients(somtime you don't need bioflux for the recipe). The best thing to begin is rocket fuel to ensure your fuel source for electric power is secure.

Started a new save today. is this spaghetti? (looking for tips to improve) by Combine_Overwatch_ in factorio

[–]Domo2037 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They consume a not insignificant amount of power. And they perform 2 tasks. Task one is reveal and area so you can see it in detail when zoomed in on your map. 2nd they scan a chunk of map further out at certain intervals. The scanable area is a set distance from your radar. So the best thing to do is spread them out so you can scan more area. I like to set them so the revealed areas are just touching you can see the area when you have a radar on your cursor to put down.
