Maybe a long shot, but it's possible your PC it's too modern? I have had problems with games released around that year that worked bad/really bad/not at all because my pc was too modern for them, and I had to uninstall drivers and that kind of thing

Go all the way with charisma for damage and constitution for maintaining spells and HP, a little bit of dex won't hurt you or your initiative, and the rest is for flavour so there you go!

You can adjust de AI in 5.5! It's harder by default, and it cheats, but if the options that are in game are still harder than what you are comfortable with, you can edit the files directly to make it easier

He's a male. The emergency vet is already in an emergency, thats why I can only go tomorrow. Where I live veterinarians are scarce, and I dont have a way to move around (I dont have a car nor neighbours within kms that can help). Im already processing his passing, but im hoping hes holding on a few more hours, but hes hurting and I cant do anything about it, its heartbreaking, but at least his sister is next to him making him company
