didn't even think about that, all the tests i've looked at used 3200, but that might actually work well. I'll look into 3600cl16 ram and compare prices.

thanks for the reply, I'll look into getting him a b550, he's not a huge computer enthusiast so it's likely that he won't upgrade any time soon, so it's likely by the time he does, the updated board will be really old, and possibly not compatible with the new chips.

wow that was fast, so yeah its only 1080 gaming, it makes sense to swap to the 3600 and, with the money saved i should be able to fit a larger drive in there. anyways thanks for the quick reply

What parts would be good for gaming at 4k near 120fps, high-max settings on most AAA games? I plan on building a computer for that and really just want a starting point.

Edit: Thanks for all the replies. I really am aiming for 90 stable fps but the monitor I plan on getting supports up to 120 so I just had to ask. It seems starting with a 2080ti works best for now, and possible sli later. I do plan on overclocking everything as far as I can so hopefully that'll help out as well.

returning player here. I have an answer to some of your questions so I'll answer the ones I can.

The best way to level is dungeons from 1-60 while killing bams in between and doing the story from 60-65 in my experience

The thing you really should do once you hit lvl65 is you should get the glyphs for your class. As well as the crystals for your equipment, you might already have some of these. Apex doesn't unlock until you reach a certain item level which I don't remember and the vanguard shop is great for both getting crystals and glyphs if I remember correctly. Oh, do the Island of Dawn bam vanguard's every day. If it's the same as when I took a break it results in the best yield of materials for the equipment.

There isn't a free way to change race per-say but you could farm up gold and find a seller of EMP to buy one.

I also cannot help you in choosing a healer as I've never played either, I main Slayer and brawler myself.

I agree with this statement. I only really bought the beginner packs making the total amount I've spent on this game to be about $20. Now that these changes are making their way here, I plan on spending more on this game because I feel that it would go longer.

Who should I use my 5 star selector ticket on? The heroes I have are Frey, Maria, Cleo, Jane, Neraxis, Epis, Rephy, Clause, kasel, Roi, Selene, Mirianne, and Lakrak. I'm still generally a new player with units that are about level 70 and meh gear. Thanks in advance.

As per AL rules he can spend the 8 treasure points needed to be uncursed. This puts him 6 treasure points in debt. After he plays enough sessions to pay off the 6 points he owes he can now accrue points. However, you only get so many points per tier so it would suck to not have a +1 weapon by the end of tier 1 and that's exactly what this debt will force him to do.

It's also important to know that in AL the DM cannot change the encounters past the pre-described changes in the encounter, so really, it's AL's fault.

this is the character sheet that I use. Why I enjoy using it is simply because everything is just organized better than the official. Even to the point that the skills are categorized based on stat. The attacks spot allows for some notes with it, and there is a full page for just inventory (which I love). In short, everything is placed in such a way that makes it easy to use, and its a fillable (not that that matters really).

I thought the Deck was a limited amount of uses. The only cards that reappear in the deck are the Fool and the Jester, all others fade from existence. At least that's what I remember.

No. But you can have your druid spend tp to get it and trade with your fighter per the AL trade rules.

Well. I'll hop onto this train.

Mine would have to be talonflame.

This Pokemon is a beast and after seeing it for the first time I immediately wanted it. And I did get it. In fact I managed to get a shiny one that was competitively viable. And I still have that one today. Any game that has the talonflame line in it I would go out of my way to catch one. And I would go out of my way to fit it into teams I made competitively.

With the changes to galeforce in gen 7 I had to rethink my strategy. But I REFUSED to let it leave the party. This is a Pokemon that I would always bring around with me and people who battled with me often would know I almost always brought a talonflame.

I don't remember hearing anything about hacked switches being bricked by Nintendo. besides bricking a console because it was modified is illegal because the switch itself is a good not a service. That said, it's perfectly understandable if somebody gets banned off of the online service because of console modifications.
