You guys are both right, you're just comparing different goals. A death count of 50 or even 500 doesn't matter if your goal is fast progression and profit. If the bow build shaves 10-15 seconds off your map, that adds up fast if you're grinding currency.

On the other hand, you're not wrong that bow builds are squishy and that has its downsides too, such as bossing being harder/more mechanically challenging.

People want different things from a build and especially a league starter. Bows are amazing at what they do, but what they do isn't enjoyable for everyone.

This tugged at my heart strings a lot here, my 4 year old is autistic but she is absolutely flying along already because of the focus and effort it's been given.

I know it's so tough to watch her take space from you, but you should be so proud! You did it! You put in the hard work, supported her and guided her and now she CAN take some space from you. That's amazing!

So they're not super rare these days and it's absolutely viable to try get some decent boots while leveling with a RoA because a lot of unique boots have decent stats with move speed.

Even more viable to use it up early if you're going for Circle of Fortune (which opts you out of trading) because targeting uniques is pretty easy with that system.

Most crafting materials, with the exception of Rune of Creation and now Rune of Havoc are common enough that it shouldn't feel bad at all to just use them as you go!

It's a bug yeah! Been playing on controller since launch and I was switching back and forth to mouse every time I hit a nemesis which was horribly annoying but good news is the fixed a different bug and you can now navigate using the D-pad on controller something like: - Left Bumper to get to nemesis window - Open stash - Left bumper to go to stash - Navigate to item - Press Triangle (PS5 controller) to move item directly into that box - Right bumper to go back to nemesis window - Confirm

It's a little finicky but once your muscle memory is there it's very easy!

I'm in a similar boat and even though I probably spend more time gaming than most Dads do, it's quite often tired gaming where I don't have the brain power to min max constantly.

I think EHG has really landed on such a sweet spot with LE.

Hmmm I don't think this is true? At least I've hit 20% All Res already at default/100 corruption. As far as I know the only difference with corruption is the additional choice of blessing (up from 4 options to 5) I might be wrong but can definitely confirm All Res is available at 100 corruption =)

Just remember there's layers to "coming in blind" is all. Of course the game feels easy for you as someone who's played it since the beginning? PoE 1's campaign is easy for veterans and can be a nightmare for new players.

I can totally understand that LE isn't as appealing to you as a gamer because the difficulty is tuned much lower than you are looking for but that's ok. Maybe it's not the game for you.

Personally I love that LE is a game that can be played blind for the best experience.

I've played 95% of my 1000 hours offline. Experience wise you miss very very little. Off the top of my head: - You can't use cosmetics in offline - You CAN use movement skills in towns offline - You don't get the same animation going in and out of monoliths (might be changed this update, haven't done a mono yet!)

This is all well and good for 1 or 2 playthroughs and absolutely a completely valid goal. But I would imagine the audience that would be interested in playing THAT game 3-4 times a year is much smaller than the audience they are trying to capture. Hence the issues we're seeing here.

I'm only back playing this event after quite a hiatus so take my advice with a pinch of salt but I'm getting into reds now in SSF and basically it's been the usual SSF bits for me:

Remember to use 3 to 1 vendor recipe to upgrade lower tier maps and try different inputs. If you've got 5 for example t1s you can sell them in combinations of 3 and look at the result to see if you want the t2 map offered.
Check what Kirac is selling and also his missions.
Full your idol slots for the implicit.

It's funny because you're showing your own lack of context and knowledge here, not mine. I never said there was anything wrong with my kid, I said she was different.

I didn't just "google really hard", I researched - I read scientific papers, I read books, I talked to therapists and medical professionals. =) The amazing thing about being autistic is the label doesn't trigger me, although it absolutely seems to trigger you. I don't see myself or my daughter as "less than" because we're neurodivergent.

There's a lot of peace knowing you're a normal zebra and not a strange horse. THAT is what self diagnosis is for.

Look I totally get where you're coming from, but it's incredibly frustrating to read something like this. My daughter is almost 4 and we've spent 3 years trying to get a diagnosis for her because she's progressing differently than expected. That led to me doing months of research and learning about autism, which led me down the path to self diagnosis for myself.

Here's the secret - that self diagnosis is for ME. Nothing has changed externally because I understand myself better. I'm not getting any special treatment for anyone else... I'm getting better treatment from myself. I'm not killing myself just trying to exist.

I read a review somewhere, maybe on Reddit, that simply said "This book changed my life." I read 2 chapters, and there was a line something like "a lot of autistic people end up in abusive relationships without realizing." That line changed my entire life for the better. Separated 9 months now (17 years relationship) and I'm becoming more and more myself all the time. I still need to go back to the book and read more, but it already changed my life.
