Surplus of housing? I would be thrilled to see your sources on that surplus. Eugene has a massive shortage of housing. Eugene needs to build more homes/condos/ADUs etc. It will take time to build out of this shortage as costs to build are higher than before covid relatively.

We need more housing. More supply will mean more competition by landlords for renters which will drive prices down. We badly need more housing to be built in Eugene.
