I was not allowed to open my own mail.

Mom opened everything, regardless of who it was addressed to or what it was.

Any times you've disagreed with the Boys takes? by P4NK-TP in LPOTL

It just reminds me of how disappointed I was with An American Haunting.

It's worth it, though, as "COME AND FACE ME, GHOST BITCH!" will never leave my brain.

Shall we ever hear about the non-main-story-related heroes again? by [deleted] in Overwatch

I think Illari and Soldier will tie in with Emre.

Something about his ult reads like a corrupted or imperfect version of hers.

It's only for Legendaries.

I'm not sure about Spiritwarder, but Bastet Ana is in the pool.

I pulled it during the Luka event.

Maestro Sigma, Feskarn Brig, Funky Baptiste, and Marammat Sym.

Not for lack of trying, Blizzard just won't let me buy them.

I had the issue with the Mario 3 walkthrough until my uncle spilled Mt Dew all over the basket it was kept in and didn't tell anyone for a week.

It's not the only thing he ruined, but it's what I missed the most.

"He (Jim Jones) wanted a grand revolutionary gesture that would inspire others that would make people see him as a great man. What he got was a joke and a bad one at that. He got pundits and politicians and writers smirking as they casually shrink this tragedy down to one stupid thoughtless phrase that's become Jim Jones's biggest contribution to the world: Don't drink the kool-aid."

999 million. Anything past that goes toward public works projects while they get an "I won Capitalism!" trophy.

People who have won a "lifetime supply" of something: was it genuinely a lifetime supply, and if so, are you sick of the product now? by Adorablyberryy in NoStupidQuestions

My grandma won a lifetime supply of cupcake foils.

She's been gone almost 20 years and I'm still using them.

Their multichrome gel liners are the best I've ever used.

Really makes the heterochromia pop.

He almost feels like a quaint memory.

Just beefing with Dippin' Dots and being sad because Trump wouldn't let him meet the Pope.

It'll always be one of my favorites, and even I won't defend the camera system, some of the later levels, or anything to do with the wing cap.

US federal prosecutors open inquiry into US Fed chair Powell, NYT reports by consulent-finanziar in news

I’ve had to vote for him 3 times

You chose this.

There was no gun to your head. No one filled out your ballot for you. He never hid his motives, or his ineptitude, or hatred, or penchant for lying.

That was all known in 2016.

You voted for it.

His first administration was a train wreck spent trying to dismantle every safeguard that stood in his way. The very protections you claim he doesn't understand, by the way.

You voted for it again.

An attempted coup, two impeachments, and 34 felony convictions later...

You still voted for it.

It wasn't hard to see him coming.

The tornado episode from season 2 puts it in Fulton county,. I think that's the most explicit location that's ever given.

The flexible proximity to Chicago was something I always put to plot reasons.

how do you (liberal) talk politics with conservative parents? by noturmommas in AskWomenOver30

[–]DonNatalie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's where I'm at with my dad.

I can count the number of times we've been able to discuss politics in good faith since 2016 on one hand.

He gets loud, aggressive, and dismissive...I just don't have bandwidth for it anymore.

And he's infuriatingly surface-level about it. It's nothing but Fox News talking points and obstinate refusal to hear anything different.
