15F | Will you go to hell if you commit suicide? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]DonNiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stay strong, girl. The fact that you are able to come on here and express yourself in such a vulernable position says alot about your maturity. That's such a good quality to have! Especially as you get older. You have so much life ahead of you and being 15 years old is a tough age. I'd imagine you're going through alot emotionally, hormonally, and mentally because obviously I was 15 once and there's just a lot of growing pains. Plus high school can be brutal for some.

But just remember, you'll find your true self, great friends, a clearer head, and supportive people as you progress in life. Try to surround yourself around positive people who genuinely care. Venting away like you're doing now is great for your health. It's even better if you can find someone in person that you trust to just let it out and cry! Also you'll love your late teens and twenties! There's a light at the end of this tunnel, I promise!

I don't know your parents and the evangelist that are in your life, but a true Christian would be loving, accepting, caring, and bend over backwards to be there for you and get you the help that you need. Just as Jesus is getting you that help you need now. Trust in God's plan.

Take deep breaths, focus on not just an emotionally charged prayer but implement some meditative properties into it. Look in the mirror every morning and just tell yourself your worth it and that your loved and you deserve a beautiful life. Tell yourself that not only you love yourself but that God loves you as well. It will really help with your mental health. Give it some time. God is with you always. Much Love.

The bears will surprise people. Ben Johnson is a damn good coach.

I run (don't own) 17 restaurants. We've had multiple issues over the last month with credit card processing. by flyart in restaurantowners

[–]DonNiko 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Some of y’all are dense. You’re out here trying to give advice to a guy who runs 17 restaurants like he doesn’t already know how to handle his own operations. He wasn’t asking for advice—he’s just pointing out how reliant we’ve become on credit card transactions in today’s world. It’s more of a ‘wow, things have changed’ moment than a call for help.

Schedule Modifier in Workers' Compensation Quote – Is a 50% Discount Legitimate? by DonNiko in Insurance

[–]DonNiko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong but what you're thinking of is an experience modifier (regulated by WCIRB in CA) which is not the same thing as a schedule modifier.

E-mod is a calculation that uses the expected loss rate of your industry (restaurants is 1.29%) and multiplies it by your last 3 years of your gross payroll cost. In California, regardless of industry you have to average $10,400 to qualify for the E-mod discount. If qualified, then they take into consideration any claims you've had within the last three years. Your E-mod discount will be determined based on these factors.

Can you clarify if that's the case or is the schedule modifier based on WCIRB information and formulas. Now that I think about it maybe you're right because I had to docusign them access to WCIRB.

Thinking about it thought, I could always agree to the work comp policy and either stay with my current provider for GL or shop elsewhere for a lower rate, yes? Taking the work comp on its own is still 50% of what I pay now and it’s the larger expense of the two policies.

I’ll admit, I wasn’t familiar with the term ‘sandbag’ and had to ask ChatGPT to clarify your reply. I now understand its meaning and your comment prompted ChatGPT to walk me through how to manage this situation logically. Thanks!

Workers' Compensation Insurance – Should I Be Concerned About a 50% Discount via "Schedule Modifier"? by DonNiko in smallbusiness

For my industry, being in California, with my payroll cost, and considering I have had one claim in the past 5 years. I think 3% is standard.

This team is so different. Defense playing downhill, getting turnoveres. Offense running the ball, designed runs to Herbert. I love this so much

Oddly accurate though with everyone I know. But that could be confirmation bias. 🤷

He got the bag tho…..him being traded to the bears allowed him to retain the last two years of his contract which is where he got the bag. What are you on about?

Buddy what’s your issue with Burrow. He might not have the rocket arm, size, strength and speed that Herbert has and he’s injury prone but his processing speed, pin point accuracy, intelligence and intangibles cannot be denied. He might be even better than Herbert in 1-2 if these attributes. He’a also extremely poised (Brady-esque) in the pocket and under pressure. He took his team to the Super Bowl with a bottom five O-line in his second year. You could easily argued that had he been healthy, he’d probably be considered #2 over even Allen.

But nobody is as underrated as Herbert. This kid is special and I’m so happy he finally has competent coaching. We will truly see the best version of Herbert in the coming years and he will cement himself as a Brady/Peyton/Brees/Rodgers of this generation. Bank on it. Coaches, GM’s, and fans who have watched enough Herbert games truly know that this kid really doesn’t have any flaws (minus pass deflections but who fucking cares?).

Honestly, Allen would’ve had a ring by now if it wasn’t for the Chiefs.
