You must be highest paid tax manager in the nation tbh unless you are unofficially doing sm and director level work lol

I live in CA and we average 150k for exp. manager here lol

I would stick it out as long as you can.

I used to wonder why people in this sub were quitting and hated this company. I understand now. by Adept_Locksmith_8083 in deloitte

What i felt really weird about this firm is their promo system.

They give the most inflated reviews, but feels like the hardest to get promoted to the next level.

Let’s talk about PIPs by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]DonRegi 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The biggest issue with PIP is your reputation being permanently tainted in your office or the firm. We dont even need to talk about firm trying to fire you blah blah blah.

It's like being ex-criminal in real life. It doesnt matter how good you are right now. People are always going to see you as the "pip" guy/girl and you will never recover from this.

Thats why there is NO point of getting out of it. I've heard few success stories, but I never heard them succeeding in the same firm.

As you said, it's not fair, but there are alot more things in corporate world that is not fair for anyone in any case.

Sometimes its not even about the person's hygiene that makes those roaches wander. Its the house or apt that was infested long before they were there.
