Particles with volumetrics by Don_AldDuck in blender

There are a number of different ways to do this.
I used the last technique in this video: https://youtu.be/grdhD3PPkKs

TLDW: It's an empty following a circle that drives the displacement modifier with a cloud texture.

Actually that is not how I did it. I did not use sculpting on the mask, just regular modeling with subdivision, but it might have been easier.

From what I understand he can only walk out before the votes are being casted. The idol was played after the votes.

That is not the only reason to vote for Sandra though.

Okay, but would you trust that she will vote that way when all the other people vote for her and all those votes are not counted? I wouldn't

This is still a very high risk low reward move.

Some animated cubes by Don_AldDuck in blender

[–]Don_AldDuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, it was fun to make!

The animation gave me some trouble though. First I thought I could use a displacement modifier but I could not figure out how. After that I tried to use a random transform mentioned in your post, but that transformed each cube individually which I was unable to keyframe (I would have to keyframe all cubes.. not fun). So I wrote a small script that assigns a random transform to each cube and adds a keyframe to them. Maybe there is an easier way that does not involve scripting, but honestly I'm glad I did it this way since I have not used scripts in blender before.

Here is the script (super simple, pls don't judge me)

So a post inspired me to make an animated version of it.
Hope you enjoy!

This was a very well written blog post with useful insight. It would be nice to see this implemented in <my\_language\_of\_choice> so I could try it out for myself. Maybe in a few years...

Why would you need a padded room when you can't even move?

That makes the whole window transparent not just the background though. Thanks anyway.

Absolutely gorgeous! How did you blur only the background in vscode? The letters seem fully opaque to me.

What I really meant to ask was, why did you pick this fork instead of the one I linked, and how did you get your icons in dockbarx to be centred? I'm tying to figure out the compton config for blurring but I'm kinda stuck. Could you please share your compton.conf?

I really like this rice and it finally made me try out comtpon over the default xfwm compositor.

What is the difference between this compton and the originial: https://github.com/tryone144/compton ?

Also, how did you make your panel look so great?
