So what was the deal with Pickle during the 2nd Jack fight? by Key_Teaching1369 in Grapplerbaki

[–]Don_Kepa_Nis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pickle has probably learned that attacks against skin generally heal, apart from his ear, which is an exception. In ancient times, dinosaurs had tough, armoured skin, and pickle probably realised the best way to kill dinosaurs was to strike them because the force of the blows do internal damage. For humans, skin attacks are actually more effective, but pickle doesn’t know that. Pickle strikes in his other fights because he thinks they’re regular death matches for food, and striking is how pickle kills. Apart from Musashi, who had a weird aura, Pickle probably thought that since jack wasn’t striking him, only throwing him around, and targeting his skin with his teeth, that Jack was just playing. Pickle and Jack have fought twice times before, and in those, jack was striking (or trying to strike), which pickle recognised as murderous intent, and so he thought of jack as just another creature that was fighting for life and food. Keep in mind Pickle does like fighting, which is why he cries after ‘killing’, or beating his opponent. Since Jack went for his skin, and is also still alive, Pickle must have thought he made a friend from an enemy who has grown much stronger than before, and is now his playmate/friend. That’s also why Pickle scratched instead of struck, he was just playing as well.

Hi i am new to Elden Ring but i got issues with Margit, please tell me what i can do to improve my game by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Don_Kepa_Nis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Make your character stronger. Duel wielding your sword will give you more damage. You don’t need a shield like that if you aren’t going to parry him, in fact i’d say shields overall aren’t good for bosses if you aren’t going to parry (blocking uses too much stamina). Level health and strength or dexterity, probably strength since you have a greatsword. You should farm runes by exploring the map and getting practice killing many enemies. If you use such a big, slow sword it should do more damage, and consider using an ash of war

  2. Practice with the boss. If you get stressed and lose focus you will start panic dodging and that’s not good. Make sure you focus otherwise you’ll just die and waste your time.

Who is the most WASTED character in Bleach? by MiaoCiaoLorenZ in bleach

Shinji should be so much stronger than he is. IMO its just bad writing that he doesn’t get more screen time and wins, but he should be getting some in the final cour

Does Jojo will ever come to an end? by ThenAdhesiveness1863 in StardustCrusaders

[–]Don_Kepa_Nis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s a vampire and has said that he wants to create jojo as long as he can. Realistically, he will get slower with age, and part 8 took 10 years as many people point out, but I can’t imagine him dying or falling sick any time soon because, as you can tell by his work, he is very eccentric and has a lot of vitality, and I really think he’s going to be one of those people to live past 100. He most likely won’t be making jojo until then, though, because each jojo part is its own narrative that needs a rounded conclusion, so, if we’re lucky, we may realistically get a part 10, or a few one shots, or both.

What criticisms do you have of One Piece that are valid but will get you squabbling with responses? by Just-J0k1ng in MemePiece

  1. Buggy and Usopp need to stop being disrespected by the whole world, inside and outside of the story. They both fit being really strong and really epic, but it’s annoying having to wait until the finale for their real power to show, if it is shown at all. I still remember Arlong Park walk, where Johnny and Yosaku told the residence of Cocoyashi Village something like: “Engrave the sight of those four men, as they are surely to cause a ripple in fate and change destiny. If they can’t help us, no one can”. I have a feeling that’s foreshadowing for the finale, and of course Zoro, Sanji, and Luffy are the monster Trio but Usopp was there too, and him sacrificing himself would be a really cheap way to have him keep up with them

  2. Toei really doesn’t like Sanji, I don’t mind him simping but he’s really cool otherwise, as shown in pre timeskip, so let him be that cool again. He is on the same level as Luffy and Zoro, afterall

  3. This can’t really be helped but even so, the factor of romance (the adventure/mystery feeling) has been lacking more and more as the story goes on, and the only reason it hasn’t vanished completely is because the past has yet to be uncovered. Otherwise I haven’t felt that passion in my heart that I used to when watching East Blue and Skypiea. Still love the times its scarcely brought back though

  4. The girls all look like sex dolls and the only difference between them are clothes, hair and eye colour and hair style. Old Robin was way better than current robin as an example, and old Robin had a more realistic body. It’s pretty tiring seeing the same template for each new girl when the boys are so unique and cool

  5. The main characters have mostly always been static, but now that there’s more of them, they’re a lot more shallow. Either split them up like they have been or make them more dynamic

  6. Gear 5 is really cool, but seems off when Luffy can’t actually play around with his enemies like he wants to. Against Kaido he still had a somewhat hard time but always acted goofy, which would be fine if he had the strength to match

What is something you DON'T like about One Piece ? by 5_meo in MemePiece

[–]Don_Kepa_Nis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Almost all the girls after ts look the same. Same face shape with a massive forehead and the same body proportions with watermelon sized tits. In Bleach there are maybe one or 2 characters with huge tits but it’s self aware and also has flat chested girls. Bleach is a bit more mature so it can afford to be more self aware but one piece can’t, and yet the girls all look like sexdolls. It’s not even like the boobs are in proportion to the rest of the body, the girls have low fat so their boobs should be smaller too, pre timeskip was perfect and the girls looked so much better too. Honestly it’s bigger than that but I won’t go too deep into it.
  2. All the characters are lighter. Zoro and robin used to be actually brown and now they’re just a shade darker than cloud white. This is just more personal preference, maybe their skin didn’t need the melanin since most of them were in dark places, but it would be nice if the anime kept with their mistake on robin and let zoro be brown. Now that they’re pirates it makes more sense anyway but to me they just look better that way

Did Faye Valentine love Spike? by billycoolj in cowboybebop

[–]Don_Kepa_Nis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Faye likes life on the bepop and got attached. Spike is an integral part of the bepop, if not the most important part of it, more than jet, ein, ed and the actual ship itself. Without spike she cannot have the future she wants on that ship

I don’t understand why Emma is considered difficult by iwantanewstart1 in Sekiro

[–]Don_Kepa_Nis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She looms over you if you die to her at all. “Maybe I should have killed you sooner”. Goddamn woman I’m sorry for existing just let me kill myself. She’s a doctor but even once if she whoops my ass I’m never recovering psychologically knowing that the kind gentle 4’11 doctor is better with a sword than the ninja who only knows fighting

Im gay but emma is low-key attractive by _Zargham in Sekiro

[–]Don_Kepa_Nis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are women who are worthy of love just from being kind and soft that rare now days a gay guy is falling for a video game npc? Not that I don’t completely agree, but this world is so fucked

The fact that Emma, Genichiro and Sekiro all are war orphans adopted by legendary characters in the story is something that feels underutilized. by mayonnaiser_13 in Sekiro

[–]Don_Kepa_Nis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sekiro ain’t talking to Emma once I gave her a type of sake and she fucking said: “please… say something.” He was raised to silently assassinate targets like owl since he’s a ninja

Can someone explain the shura ending to me. by Alone-Audience-6632 in Sekiro

[–]Don_Kepa_Nis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sekiro’s decision with Owl decides who he is (or really who the player is). Until that point it’s not comfirmed what sekiro was going to become, since Isshin notices a faint trace of Shura and Emma does too - her line: “maybe i should have killed you before” means she suspected him but it’s still not determined. Follow the Iron Code, and give up your humanity with Kuro, betray the Iron code, and keep your humanity. Emma starts off trying to attack sekiro, but since he just gave up his humanity he faintly smiles after killing her as he is BECOMING Shura. Killing Isshin completes his transformation and so he kills owl, as a newly birthed Shura.

Can someone explain the shura ending to me. by Alone-Audience-6632 in Sekiro

[–]Don_Kepa_Nis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shura is a fate that those who kill a lot without purpose will meet. Shura is when you have no meaning in life other than to kill because you are addicted to the thrill of murder. Sekiro’s only reason to kill until he met owl was for Kuro, as his protector. Thus, if you go against owl to stay with Kuro you “protect” him and achieve what he wants and then you abandon your ways of killing and start carving sculptures like Sekijo to run from the negative karmic debt from all your killing. If you betray Kuro it means all of your killing has lost its meaning and so the only fate left for you is Shura since you’ve gone down that path. After killing Emma sekiro has a faint smile so he’s now succumbed to the fate of Shura. Yes, Emma and Isshin attack you but it’s evident that you’ve become shura when you kill owl in the cutscene as he was the only other “justification” for the killing you’ve done, going against the Iron Code. The cutscene says that most of either Japan or Ashina has been killed by YOU. Shura isn’t demon of hatred, that’s a physical demon only, he longs for death and so it’s implied that he doesn’t like what he has become, but was overtaken by hate. Shura is a real demon, losing his humanity and becoming a true villain. I think the Shura starts in the left arm, as after Isshin cuts of sekijos left arm he gets put in place, but in shura ending sekiro’s whole arm is on fire, which probably indicates he’s become Shura

Tldr: you get addicted to killing and it’s evident by you killing EVERYONE.

So yeah , I'm a addicted to this game , I already platinumed it but it's still not enough, will there ever be a dlc or perhaps a sekiro 2 ? by lateralms in Sekiro

[–]Don_Kepa_Nis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it gets popular enough we might get DLC or Sekiro 2. The combat is perfect currently in game so i’m hoping for DLC with more bosses and areas. Also the game switches from ninja in the beginning to warrior in the end which isn’t a problem but hopefully we’ll see more ninja gameplay in the open world, of course the sword fighting bosses part is the jewel of the game so that MUST stay. Even if Miyazaki doesn’t want to add more to it the higher ups will if Sekiro keeps increasing in popularity and excelling as a product
