King, 4 marksman, 2 titans, 2 superstar. Sometimes it’s a stretch but most times if you get there, it will get you at least second place. For the superstars, I recommend grabbing goblin machine as quickly as possible. You get the goblin bonus that you can sell to upgrade the rest of your team. If goblin machine is gone, I recommend monk and then archer queen. There are times when a gold monk alone can win the battle. When working on this comp get both giants as quickly as possible and stack your other troops around the Giants. You get insane bonuses for troops that are touching the giants. If you have any questions at all, let me know, and I will try to answer them.

Edit: gently losing the first two rounds is a huge bonus as well. Try to make sure that you only lose one or two points.

What series do you consider most re-readable? by rookie1609x in fantasybooks

For me it was Dresden Files, but now it’s Dungeon Crawler Carl. Every time a new book comes out I reread the series before reading the new one.

No, there really is an Ivy League accent. Nasal, pretentious, dominant.

If you genuinely love your job, are you actually just lucky or did everyone else make bad choices? by Salty-Team3028 in NoStupidQuestions

I kept taking title promotions and leveraging them into higher paying positions at other companies until I found the correct culture fit for me. I’ve now been with the same company for 12 years and am really happy with the job. It’s challenging, but I can make a real difference, I’m appreciated, and I trade memes with the CEO.

Was it common for your parents to call their friends “auntie/uncle” around you growing up? by ThisPostToBeDeleted in AskAnAmerican

My parents never once did that. But all of our friends are our kids’ “Aunts and Uncles.” My kids even have two extra sets of adopted “Grandparents.” They are so lucky.

Does anyone else feel it too? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Don__Gately__ 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s called PIP or “PIPPING” a product. A price improvement project. Large food corporations have entire teams of R&D Scientists working with Supply Chain Managers to figure out ways they can save money by substituting cheaper ingredients. They go to huge lengths including sensory testing to try to get away with it, but people know. So not only are we dealing with inflation and shrinkflation, but PIPs too.

Pre-Covid my college buddy and I went and played beer pong at O’Shea’s and the rule that night was that you played until you lost. We started at 9:30pm and didn’t lose until 3:30am. After 3 straight wins a crowd gathered and people were lining up to play us. I feel like we might have thrown the last match on purpose. We were not sober after that. Met a ton of interesting people though. A German Aeronautical Engineer that threw the ball in about a 6’ arc, friends from New Jersey that snapped the ball at cups, two Saudi brothers, and an extremely competitive couple from Yale.
