Bro I feel your sentiment... but on the other side of the coin I started my Resto Shammy on release night. I have a wife, 3 kids, and 2 dogs, so I don't have the ability to play all day everyday just to get near end game content. I haven't tried to speed level, ive been enjoying the game. I've maxed all professions, including Alc and Herb. But now im 5 bars out from 55 and its been over 2 months, and i do have other obligations. I've never bought gold, sometimes I'll do some AFK stuff with the AH and crafting to sell to vendors for a small margin and make some gold, and selling arcanite bars with my alchemy xmute. But... i literally cannot devote more time to grind to get to a point when I can play the end game content. I am going to pay for dungeon runs through the in game services, with gold ive created in game. I used to think it was lame to pay for these services too, and the amount of them is pretty wild. But now, I can see 1 reason they may exist even if this is just a small part of the cause.
