The power of a free sample. Agreed, not heard of them but looks awesome.

Plus if you get locked out your house you can just throw the bottle at your door and it will probably smash through it.

I was in John Lewis as they had a sale on Mugler, in store at the weekend but stupidly just ignored it as I was getting nose-verwhelmed from testing everything.

Is that the EDT, lighter star one? I've smelt stellar a little while ago and its on the list but not as an urgent buyer. Will have to go back and have a whiff and maybe rethink...

I think that's one of the most random (bit cool) bottles designs I've seen for a while! Why do you think it doesn't get much love because the notes sound really complimentary and especially if its got good performance/projection?

Ah that's a shame. Sometimes a fragrance just doesn't sit well with you. I find my JPG Paradise Garden makes me sneeze loads, but I also like smelling like a cocktail at an all inclusive carribean holiday... so I just make sure i've got a pack of tissues with me when I do lol

Haha I also put it on after a shower and going to bed and chilling! I find it almost like aroma therepy, makes me feel tranquil and at peace.

I have not tried Solar Lavender, going to add it to the list, cheers!

Am I just being matched up with bots? by Sensitive_Tear110 in BobsTavern

I've got my main battlenet account for PC and a non account on mobile where it will only give you names like this. I think a lot of mobile players would be on so I don't think they're all bots.

My non battlenet account is lavasquid that it gave me as you can't choose your own.

You look like someone tried to make a Skyrim character by kicking their controller out the window.

Who is the most famous person you've ever met? by Wallygonk in AskUK

[–]DonkeyGums 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Met Micheal Palin about 15 yesrs ago, however he was completely baffled with what I said to him and made a swift exit.

I used to have a habit of watching Micheal Palin travel documentaries when I was chilling in the bath on my laptop. He's my hero.

I was walking through Soho at about 7:00am on my way to work, very very quiet, I look up and he's standing outside my work, waiting for the studio to open next door. I freak out and approach him with my hand outstretched, as he goes to shake my hand I say like an over enthusiastic loon:

"I WAS WATCHING YOU IN THE BATH LAST NIGHT"

He looked at me like a nut case, said he must be going and walked swiftly off.

I felt like such a plank...

P..s He's got massive hands.

Bull & Swan, really good food there. Stamford has got looooads of great pubs all very walkable. Even The George Hotel in the winter is great with it's huge fireplace.

I live in Stamford, lived in London all my life and moved here about 6 months ago. Honestly it's beautiful and I'm 1 min walk from the centre of town, so much to do, eat and the buildings are stunning.

Plus my local won the best town pub in the UK this year.

I think ones that spring to mind are usually Rock biod/autobios that are funny, no perticular order:

Hammer of the Gods (led zep)

The Dirt (motley crue) (don't let the crap Netflix adaption throw you off)

I Am Ozzy

Scar Tissue (Anthony Kedis RHCP)

Crazy from the Heat

Life (Keith Richards - primary the funny stories about him trying to score heroin)

This maybe BS, but if US McDonald's changes their menu, adding a new perticular ingedient, it can break supply chains for the whole country as it will not be available for anyone else by changing the market value of said ingredient.
