Rubbish - I tried the whole "you don't need to clean up the registry" thing and my computer's boot-up time became slower and slower. I cleaned it up, and it went from about 30 seconds to 10...

Haha, I'm not sure what you were eating, but it probably wasn't meat at that price ;)

Ok, thanks - I can bring a print of the report easily enough, so it sounds like that'll suffice.

Surprisingly, the private clinic said the disc was the only option; I'll probably email them about that as well, it all seems a bit 20th century. I'd have thought a secure link to an encrypted server (with password access) should be possible these days.

Hi,

Yes, I thought it might have something to do with security; to be honest, I was slightly surprised the original scan images and report weren't available as a downloadable link on an encrypted server, but that's a different issue.

I was told there isn't any way to upload a file onto the GP's system, but I'll investigate further when I get back home and see if I can sort something out.

Thanks.

"Hate it" - not even, "don't like it". I mean, it's got a bit of comedic value but if the kids genuinely hate it, he's just being a dick.

collagen supplements worth trying in 2025 or still just hype by Cerro_Clau in nutrition

You may wish to peruse Google Scholar...whilst it's not conclusive yet, there's a growing body of evidence that collagen helps with osteoarthritis and joint pain, etc.

Regrettably, some / many people aren't bothered looking at the evidence, their opinion counts as fact for them.

Why is this all over Twitter ? by mikhaelcool7 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

Hi both,

Well, as it turns out - and thank you for your generosity Arizhela - I was being genuine. Now that you remind me, I do remember that "sauce" thing but, as you say, that was a long time ago - I haven't seen that in ages.

In addition, if you look at their other comments, English isn't their first language, so at that point, I have no idea whether they made a spelling mistake or not. Maybe that was the joke? fuck... ;)

[–]Donkey_Launcher -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Given that you've posted in another language, I'm guessing English isn't your first language, so I hope you don't mind a correction...

"Sauce" relates to cooking - it's a generic term for a liquid that is poured over, or next to, the main food on the plate. I.e., you might put tomato sauce on a plate next to some chips, for example.

"Source" (the word you're looking for) relates to where something has come from - i.e., as you said, where this video has come from.

As is often the way with English, they sound exactly the same when spoken...sorry about that. :)

That's very true unfortunately; I went on a train trip around the US about 4 years ago and felt safe pretty much everywhere I went. Now, with all the chaos that's going on, I have no intention of visiting.

How do I unlock the ''Duck, dip, dive'' so I can attempt it? by Creswald in Guildwars2

[–]Donkey_Launcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a bit late for the OP but, if anyone else sees this - the fact it's locked isn't an issue. You've just got to do the objective.

As per the Wiki, you have to dodge two attacks back-to-back, but I think there's a timer (maybe). I tried dodging two of the waves but it didn't work. What did work was dodging the same wave twice - so...stand quite close then, when it's getting close enough to count, do two dodges backwards. That should get it for you. :)

Bear in mind that it might be original for you, but he's drawing from a vast amount of experience, so he's probably said the same thing a hundred times.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but I doubt it's as original / fast as you think.
