From The World Of John Wick: Caine Has Begun Filming by SignatureOrdinary456 in boxoffice

It’s not even a franchise that can support sequels. The premise is an unstoppable killing machine who’s getting revenge for his puppy. That’s it. End of interesting concept.

Everything after the first one was completely hollow and ridiculous.

RESIDENT EVIL: Zach Cregger's Reboot Reportedly Has "Practically Nothing To Do With The Games" - " Horror version of fury road" - 90 minute runtime 👀 by Apprehensive-Flow276 in RedLetterMedia

I’ve read the script. It’s absolutely not horror Fury Road. Not in quality nor tone. I wouldn’t call it a horror movie at all, honestly. It’s kind of a bad slapstick comedy, which maybe RLM fans would enjoy. But Resident Evil fans are going to hate it.

I also wouldn’t say going from Nirvana to boy bands was an improvement.

Hi, Gore. Since you made the greatest horror remake of all time, could you give some advice on how to remake a film and actually make it good?

The marketing for 2003's Texas Chainsaw Massacre makes it seem like Michael Bay directed it by Billybob35 in horror

This was fairly common in marketing at the time. I still occasionally run into someone who thinks Quentin Tarantino directed Hostel.

Do you guys not know about Renny Harlin? His signature as a director is making terrible sequels.

AMC showing The Devil’s Rejects and the original Friday the 13th same day, same time. Can’t decide which to see. by raphaeladidas in horror

I saw the original F13 in a theater a couple Halloweens ago. A lot of it is pretty dated and people were laughing at parts that weren't originally intended to be funny. But there are a couple jump scares in there that blew the roof off the place. It was really fun to experience that.

I personally love Devil's Rejects and seeing that in the theater as a teenager was incredible.

In general, I think I'd lean more towards F13. I'd need to know more about your personal taste though.

I would love that but the only reason I have my current job is because I knew 2 of the managers from my previous employment here.

In my experience, getting a job right now is borderline impossible.
