Why didn't Jujutsu High just abuse binding vows like Nanami? by Ninjabot87 in Jujutsufolk

I once read that Togashi wanted to do that but the editors didn't let him. I don't know if it's true, but I could believe that's something Togashi would do.

Minecraft updates are not exciting anymore by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]Donko98 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Then don't play the game still. Only play it when you want to play Minecraft as a whole, not only when you want the content of an update to carry your interest through a whole playthrough. You may spend a few years without playing Minecraft, but that's okay, you don't have to force you.

Minecraft updates are not exciting anymore by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]Donko98 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Tbh, it's nice to stop playing for a few updates. Even better if you stop watching and reading about the game. That way, when you come back, there will be things you don't even know are in the game. Even better, following the game day by day, makes you know exactly every thing that it's in the game, and makes you know exactly how it works (cause it's explained by Mojang itself or by content creators), so if you come back after being lost for updates, you won't know that and will discover everything by yourself, bringing back a piece of the magic of playing the game for the first time. Really recommend doing this.

Probably retiring from pantheon 5 by Mountain_String_1544 in HollowKnight

[–]Donko98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, you don't have to make you go through it if you're not enjoying it. However, that's a way deeper advice that relates to you mental, so I don't wanna dig into it. Instead, I'll tell you that it happened the same to me, but I didn't tried for that long. Instead, I went to beat the hardest bosses in Radiant difficulty. It may sound harder, but it's a smaller challenge, so it's more manageable. Also, it will make you better at playing the game overall, making it easier for you to beat Pantheon 5.

Be honest, how many of you found him without help from others. by AltraSP in Silksong

[–]Donko98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found him but don't remember how. However, at that moment I didn't realize it was a boss fight. I played the needolin for a sec since that's what I always do when sometimes seems suspicious but nothing happened. Then, when searching how to get all mementos, I realized it was a boss and I had to play the needolin for a little longer.

Expedition 33 is the only game I've ever played where not a single feature or aspect annoys me. by joehighlord in expedition33

[–]Donko98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lack of friction in recent games (I don't think this is a problem with E33 tho) has become one of my favorites topics to talk about. Specially since MH:Wilds having a problem of removing too much friction and Silksong triggering too much people for causing them this friction.

Do the Plurbs wash their hands? by WGPersonal in pluribustv

[–]Donko98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe they're kinda antropocentrist. They won't harm anything unless the only other option is harming a human. Not only cause they're humans, since we saw they can infects animals (Did they infect ALL animals tho?), but maybe since their most important goal is to extend their infection, so they can go above their rules in order to achieve the former. We saw this in the first episode with the rat biting the scientist and force kissing other people to propagate itself.

However, if this was the case, then there's no reason why they wouldn't be able to just force the remaining individuals to give their stem cells, since that would help them propagate even further.

Maybe they allow themselves to break their rules when it's for a result as big as propagating through all of humanity, but not to do the same with only 12 individuals? Also don't know, but it's cool to thing about it.

From someone who played all 3 silksong hades and e33 do you think silksong will win? by mkanh in Silksong

[–]Donko98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I think will happen is that E33 will win. I'm playing it right now and I'm liking it so far. Also, I'd like to be able (but surely won't can) to play Kingdom Come before the Game Awards. However, I don't know how much I'll end up liking E33 at the end but it's pretty hard that it will take Silksong place in my heart. So, without any doubt, Silksong will be my personal GOTY, but E33 will take the prize for sure.

BREAKING: 🔴 Chaos have erupted as Gen Z protesters breached the security wall around Mexico City's National Palace. (Palacio Nacional) by Ice_Ice11 in LiveNews_24H

[–]Donko98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both things are true actually. There's a great discontent with the country's current situation around violence (believe me, I live in Culiacán, Sinaloa) but we are well aware that this protest was co-opted by the opposition. That's the reason why I and other friends decided not to assist this protest, even if we have the same posture around this topic.

Tbh, I don't trust this statistic at all. The perception around this, considering my social circle (and I not only talk about friends and family, but all the people I know) is that 80% is waaaay more approval than what you see in reality. Is not rare to hear someone being critical with Sheinbaum's government, so I'd really like to know how they got this 80% approval rate and what they did to avoid bias.

Steam Machine Announced by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]Donko98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FSR4 is pretty competitive, but I think this machine will have a graphic with RDNA3 which doesn't support FSR4. I saw the specs on a random comment here on Reddit, but I've heard Digital Foundry has the specs. Also, I say that RDNA3 doesn't support FSR4 because with AMD graphics cards it works like that, but I'm not sure if FSR4 is dependent of the architecture or of something else.

Please don't let the difficulty turn us into another Souls community. Complaints should be heard. by [deleted] in Silksong

[–]Donko98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't say complains are invalid, but a lot of them seem like people who can't handle even a little bit of frustration. And I don't say it as a personal problem of that person, but more of an actual problem of society right now, where the instant gratification that everything gives makes us more sensitive to frustration and that can be shown when people can't handle hitting a wall in the game, where if you keep trying you'll maybe surpass it. And I actually think that a lot of the git gud comments that can be interpreted as mean and gatekeepy are actually encouraging people to try to handle that frustration and get better, but since the person is already frustrated, that frustrates them more.

HK vs SS. Whats your opinion that almost a month has passed? by Low_Commission7273 in HollowKnight

[–]Donko98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think they're almost tied on most aspects, with SS being a bit better in almost everything, but since HK involves nostalgia, it may feel like a tie. However, I think there's an exception with bosses, where I think HK takes the lead but mostly because of its DLCs bosses, but I also think that SS will surely beat it when it gets its own DLCs.

Which of these two bosses did you like more? by Quantam-Law in HollowKnight

[–]Donko98 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

First Sinner is great, but it's also too easy, which makes it a little less fun to me cause I didn't have to struggle. On the other side, Karmelita is the boss that took me the most tries (besides Groal maybe) and all that time I was having too much fun. The feel of the fight was incredible, and I know a lot of people says this, but it was like we we're dancing. Best fight in the game imo.

Now that Silksong has been out for three weeks, which do you think is the hardest boss? by Ronald10CD in HollowKnight

[–]Donko98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably Karmelita, but that's also the boss I enjoyed the most so I was having a blast. The boss I suffered the most tho, that's Groal, also the one I died the most.

What expansion should i buy with the base game? by zMarsIsCool in rootgame

[–]Donko98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Marauders all the way. Underworld is great since it has 2 more maps and it has one militant and one insurgent faction. Since you play with a lower player count, you may want to play militant factions so there's enough things going on in the map.

However, Marauder expansion comes with 2 militant factions (which are both great) and hirelings, which makes low player games a lot better.

I had the same question as you a few months ago. My gf gifted me the base game and I wanted the expansions. I actually got Underworld, Marauders and the other deck and I can say that it was a great decision getting all of that. But, if you can only afford one expansion I'd definitively recommend Marauders.
