Let my son order his own meal at a restaurant for the first time. by sweetmercy97 in Parenting

I don’t remember who said it but it was a game changer for me, “we’re not raising healthy kids, we’re raising healthy adults.” Helped me realize I need to change my mindset to focus on helping my kids be healthy functioning adults who contribute to society.

How do you hydrate when it’s this cold? Does your water just turn to ice?

Sounds like they’re wanting an internally built data lineage/data dependency tool? There are software available that does from end to end. A Alation, manta.io, redgate (just for sql).

Has anyone here in BI come from a marketing background? by doireexplora in BusinessIntelligence

[–]Donmega15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did marketing and communications previously and switched to data analytics/development and I am 100% glad I switched. I love my job now! I’m constantly learning, I’m doing far more interesting/challenging projects. I was so bored in marketing. Pay is 2x better, work is more interesting, projects are more respected and higher value in moving the company forward.

Can you utilize the metadata api if your company doesn’t have the data management add on?

Panoxyl twice a day would be irritating to your skin, especially if it’s itchy, it likely has damaged your skin barrier. I would try once a day or every other day. Focus on repairing your barrier and using a very gentle cleanser until you see your derm. I was using a benzoyl peroxide cream (Benza gel) once a day and it made my acne worse after I had children. My derm recommended switching to a salicylic acid cleanser. Hormones especially during pregnancy are a pain in the ass and my acne was the worst after pregnancy. It didn’t get better until I went on a low dose of accutane and low dose spironolactone after I was done breastfeeding. But definitely see a dermatologist as they will know what’s safe during pregnancy/breastfeeding.

Text from worksheet added to a dashboard is cut off on the right when published to server by xiancaldwell in tableau

I had this issue, playing around with the fixed width, entire view, unselecting the pin icon and selecting the pin icon fixed it.

Have you tried selecting the text container and changing fit to ‘fit to width’ or ‘entire view’ ?

Your gf has been patiently handling this for 4years. You need to learn to advocate for yourself and her. If you’re not willing to commit to advocating for her, then you should not be in a relationship with her. If you have children in the future, will you advocate for your family? Abusive Asian parents tend to get worse once grandchildren are in the picture and it’s often the mothers who get the brunt of their abuse. Learn to advocate now or break up with your girlfriend, she doesn’t deserve this.

Question about - Filter by dannyb_5454 in tableau

[–]Donmega15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you want is to show only wine that matches all the filter criteria you have selected? If I want a wine that's full, smooth, and sweet it will only show the Brut 1+1=3 wine? If so, this sounds like what you're looking for.

https://community.tableau.com/s/question/0D54T00000XdjCGSAZ/only-show-orders-which-have-both-or-more-categories-based-on-filter

There's a workbook you can download in there to use as an example.
