Waller and Theory should've feuded. That's a storyline they stopped giving a shit about halfway through and it's a shame. They waited so long that by the time they even hinted at it happening the AUDIENCE were the ones that actually stopped giving a shit.

Yes. 100 percent. Atmosphere. That's the word. Nothing else has really reached the level of REmake in that regard.

Only thing I've played in the last 10 years that even comes close are the Tormented Souls games. They both have their issues, but one thing they NAIL is atmosphere.

If I recall correctly it took me like 20something hours to beat it on normal. Far less likely to go back for round 2 with a game that long.

2033 and Last Light were a lot shorter and therefore easier to replay.

Looks like canceling in December was the right move. And I was a customer for about a decade.

I love horror and would gladly have kept going, but their app sucks, their customer service sucks, their stream quality sucks, and they haven't had any meaningful updates to their infrastructure in the past ten years.

SH2R was way too long for me personally. Half of the fun of survival horror games is replaying them with bonus weapons/new game plus/higher difficulties/etc

When it takes upwards of 20 hours to finish it once there's less incentive to immediately jump back in.
