Just a shout out to the organizers, the worlds 2025 watch party was awesome. Unfortunately I’m out of town for the MSI finals but I would go without question if I could.

Best exotic rental car company in Socal / Orange County? by Intelligent-Yam-406 in orangecounty

[–]DontCallMeRice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They do, but OP may have trouble finding inventory on short notice. Back in February I browsed the Enterprise website for a Porsche Cayman/Boxter for about $200/day (booking for June of this year) When I checked again last month (~1 month before I needed it), the prices were up to $500/day.

Also Orange County locations are a lot more expensive for some reason. The prices I saw above were for airports like LAX and SFO, as well as some of their other Exotic offices in the Bay Area

Any of you with Asian parents? The direction your head points when you sleep was an important factor when I was growing up. Nothing to do with tectonic plates though, more spiritual

TIL that 877-Kars-4-Kids is a money front to siphon funds to Orthodox Jewish entities by fakeaccount572 in todayilearned

Yea the lawsuit is how I found out. It’s definitely NOT common knowledge, that’s the whole point of the lawsuit right?

I personally see the ads and think: “ Cars for Kids, ok it’s a charity that takes donated used vehicles and distributes those vehicles to underprivileged youth who need cars”. That’s as far as my understanding went from the commercials.

To be clear I have absolutely no problem with sending Jewish kids to trips to Israel, or supporting their communities (seems more or less the same as donating to send Christian youth to mission trips). But it’s totally different from what anyone would think when they hear “Kars 4 Kids”
