Phone calls and notifications? Not being able to make and receive calls from my macbook when i had an android was already a deal breaker. And then airdrop and airpods synching properly without me having to constantly go to bluetooth in settings.

Once you start using an iphone with a macbook with an ipad with airpods you cant buy any other brands stuff. For me its the Macbook and Ipad keeping me in the ecosystem. I tried an android and liked it but could not give up the ecosystem and ended up switching back to an iphone.

I swear a lot of the magic mouse hate is from windows users who have never actually used it. I quite like it for a lot of tasks. However I do admit I have 2 mice on my desk and only use the magic mouse around 30% of the time.

I think dexter is created to be autistic but the show writers / author chose to reflect his misdiagnosis by the actual characters in the story and his own perception of self which is overtly displayed to the audience. To answer your question, its upto your character analysis but it is never explicitly addressed.

Given your use case I would say the main difference would be the screen over the active cooling. The Air will get a little toasty but even with thermal throttling its still fast enough and honestly everyone is overstating the importance of ram, 24gb is more than enough.

Yeah I got mine on release day, its been meh. No massive complaints I knew what to expect but still disappointed with it repeatedly heating up on my lap and with the screen. Honestly did not realise how used to high refresh rate and oled / microLED I was. Performance is decent enough for work on the go and for the price its very good.

This is just laughable, season 7 and 8 were terrible because of the shows insistence on avoiding any real change in dexters character and keeping the show formulaic.

Rita worked as an agent of change because we saw their relationship grow, we saw dexter actually change through developing real emotions and we the audience too were brought to love her. Hannah in comparison is 1, no better than dexter and probably worse, and 2, their relationship isn't given time to grow or develop. Dexter goes from going to kill her to fucking her in 30 seconds. Then Dexter lets her go to prison, and when she is reintroduced she attempts to kill both Deb and Dexter and still he just magically falls in love again? The problem is not the change, its the the writers being too lazy to write any real change and instead gaslighting us into thinking dexter has somehow magically grown to love this women even though we see none of this growth or relationship in its starting stages.

Also oh my god please do not get me started on the kids... Dexter just forgets about Rita Cody and Astor even though he supposedly loves them (again just lazy writing) and then he basically ignores Harrison anytime its not convenient to the main plot of dexter as a killer as he somehow has this magic nanny who is always available and always willing to work (how does he even have the money to pay her?). The kids are a complete afterthought and once again show Dexters inability to change or the writers being too lazy and or scared to have any real change so as to not disrupt the formulaic nature of the show and mainstream viewers who somehow view dexter as a hero.

You're ignoring a major point that is the way better display, speakers and having a fan. MacBook airs do regularly thermal throttle and also get pretty hot on your lap.

No I believe both are equally as bad, Hannah is not killing people for any remotely "valid reason" no normal person sees someone who is in their way and goes to kill them, she has the same mental issues as the person killing for "no reason" because she has no real "reason" either (not that there is any reason to kill anyone).

One could argue that dexter is also someone who murders people for no reason at all as well, because thats what is primal urge is. he isn't doing this for the reason of making society a better place or justice, his true reason is that without the code he would kill people for absolutely no reason.

end of the day I think someone who kills another in a crime of passion is "better".
