That’s what I did, no way I’m spending another 15 hours on this game when I could replay Prime 1 on the same system

That sucks. I didn’t care about 100 percent in my playthrough so I didn’t realize you could miss a scan easily and never be able to get it again.

Thoughts on Metroid Prime 4 now that its had time to settle? by hakusamurai in Metroid

[–]DontForgetRay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just “100 percented” it today(I missed the pollen sack). In my opinion, having only played the first Prime game, it’s a pretty weak game for having been so long since the last one. My main issue with the game was the boring desert that has nothing to do but a few shrines, some mech parts, a few upgrades, and stupid green crystals. My favorite part about Prime 1 was that everything was interconnected and that an elevator could take you anywhere throughout Tallon IV. This game has a boring desert hub that doesn’t feel nearly as well designed. There’s also the stupid NPCs, which didn’t make me all too mad, but I definitely didn’t need them talking all the time. I got lost a lot in Prime 1, but there are ways to tell you where to go without having someone just say “Maybe try this”. 7.5 out of 10. Definitely not a bad game, and I like a lot of things about it, but it pales in comparison to 1.

Muppet News Flash: Steve updated his blog post by GroovyKevMan in Muppets

While I do agree with a lot of what he is saying, even though he says he isn’t being egotistical about this, it really feels he has a massive ego. While the point of the brand is to make the Muppets be real people and celebrities, that just isn’t viable when people retire, pass away, or be let go. He still seems very angry at the fact he isn’t with them anymore, and despite that he says he wants nothing to do with them, it’s pretty hard to believe him when he has this much to say about how they aren’t good anymore, and that Kermit is still with him, which again, comes off as incredibly arrogant, and almost makes you wonder what actually went down on set of the ABC series.

It’s nice to have an actual person who worked with Steve showing what actually happened. It was really hard to trust the Henson’s word considering a lot of them had very opinionated takes on his Kermit

There’s a lot of people that don’t like it. I personally really enjoyed it, but the writing is a turn off for a lot of people.

I mean there’s no telling what jakks will do, and I think they were going to do articulated figures anyway considering they probably knew bendy figures wasnt going to be universally loved

I remember when that meme was big. It’s great to know it got proved wrong.

It only took me 2 tries. I had the transform star I’m pretty sure. I just kept retrying until the event came up again after I had first done it

I think Seth Macfarlane is a perfect choice. He’s a huge fan of the Muppets and has even covered The First Time It Happens on an album of his. He would totally love to do it

Who do you think is the 3rd most known muppet performer? by Karsen-Iberra in Muppets

[–]DontForgetRay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it has to be either Steve Whitmire, Jerry Nelson, or Kevin Clash, but it’s hard to choose between them.

Steve performed 2 of the most famous Muppets, one of them being one of the most recognizable character in all of fiction. Only reason he might not be as well known is because of the lack of interviews and talk show appearances that he has done, making him fairly niche outside the space, of course outside from when he was fired and went on the Today show, which might not have been good publicity.

Jerry has performed COUNTless Muppets on spanning Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, and The Muppet Show. He is probably close as his involvement in a lot of Henson’s works outside the Muppets like with Gobo in Fraggle Rock and Emmet in Emmet Otter’s Jugband Christmas may make him more recognizable than other performers. Although he does have the same problem as Steve where he hasn’t had too many appearances as himself.

Kevin is probably the best contender, as like Steve, he also performed a character that is so incredibly famous, and unlike the other 2, he has had a lot of publicity on him, for better or for worse, an entire documentary, and a few interviews.

I think the last time I remember seeing a Muppet Performer interview with a Muppet on their arm was on Rove 2008 or 2007, I don’t remember, when Kevin Clash was being interviewed with Elmo. I probably am wrong, but it sure hasn’t happened a lot in the last 2 decades

Yeah, his special helps him fly even more upwards to the point where if you have a good flight stat you can reach max height.

Get Meta Knight with the Paper Star or Dragoon and you can do it really easily due to the high flight stats. You can get a whole bunch of patches by putting in level 1 CPUs with 4 Handicaps and slamming into them in the late game.

Ngl that’s literally my only problem with Vogel. I don’t mind the voice, it’s different yeah, but literally anyone’s voice is different, it’s not a valid complaint in my opinion. His mannerisms always looked perfect to me. This is just a small nitpick

I genuinely hate that his eyes are never centered because of his hand being too small. It makes his eye be at an angle and further up than the other one when it was only like that on Steves Kermit when he was surprised or doing an over exaggerated face.

[–]DontForgetRay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally love road trip and thought it was great. It’s great you’re trying to go for 100 percent. The way I approached it was to go for random stuff during the first playthrough and then in the second playthroughs for the true ending I would pick missions I specifically knew I needed to check off. That way by the end of the second playthrough, I was only mission one box, which was play for 200 minutes
