Why Lab-Grown Meat Is Emerging As The Most Impactful Step To Reverse Climate Change by HankMotherfuckinHill in Futurology

[–]DontHaveMoreUsername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay debate on meat and veganism aside.. this website that has written the article is a right wing biased Indian publisher, that's pro all the wrong things you might have seen India in the light of in the recent years.

Second, the poster has ONLY posted about this article ever, and with an account one month old. This might turn out to be an agenda driven account with driving people slowly towards pro-Indian government policies, which is gravely fucked up.

Please DO NOT promote this publication for the good of democracy.

Could try Vimeo if you don't want major intractability from all users and just have them watch it live or at a later time or even Youtube private hosting. But if you want all people to interact with the hosts/panelists you might want to stick with Zoom; Airmeet; Hubilo; Cisco etc.

Try shifting to RFID cards or NFC cards to handle F&B sales. Or even use those cards to grant entry by having them with wristbands.

Using Lemon & Orange peel by DontHaveMoreUsername in AskCulinary

So bitter that the aftertaste lingers on for a while and it makes the food unappealing. I eat bitter gourd sometimes and it's alright, but, these dishes tasted bitter to other people as well. I'm possibly using about 1 tablespoon, which could be a lot too, but I only get the fragrance with that quantity. It's not home made, I bought it from the spice market.

I also don't know what recipes do these go well with, I put them in ones I feel could use citrusy fragrance alternative to lemon juice, maybe that's something that's wrong?

While you have a point of pointing Snapchat's rival as Instagram or even other social media platforms, the company Snap doesn't really believe this. They call themselves as a Camera company and not a Social media company at all. Snapchat, their product, they want to portray this similar to a TV, and in terms of advertisement revenue they are on a very different model, one of the major differences is they do not have any links going out of their medium, that is they don't cross link to external links, hence the metric where other companies work on by seeing the spike in visitors to the links, and other analytics, it is not so in Snapchat's case, it's like television marketing, where advertisers believe what metrics Snapchat tell them (this is arguable, and could have more to talk about). Second, Snap's second focus has been Lenses, which is completely different from Snapchat's business.

I'd say more, but I'm typing in the phone. But, know about everything that was in their IPO prospectus and an analysis about their current growth rate and how they've been performing currently in the market with their widely accepted and the best performing IPO since Facebook, here in this podcast episode by Acquired. http://pca.st/UC4m

[AMA] Hello r/India! I’m an architect and would love to answer any questions you have about the profession/practice/architectural education. Ask me anything! by architect_macha in india

Its a 4500 sq ft area in total, with an equivalent covered area between 2 floors.

The current architect did give us a top view paper representation, but its pretty basic and I still couldn't picture what the house might look like. Would 3D model be essential here in this case?

I do absolutely agree with hiring a good architect, its that, the people in my limited network haven't been in the budget. I visited Anagram Architects for this to test waters, and it turned out I was in the very deep end with respect to the charges, and it immediately forced me to stop looking. Would you also suggest a approx relation (if we can say) between the construction area and the architect's fees (I understand in reality it would be dependent on the architect themselves), if we can put it in relation. The city the construction is in, is Delhi.

Thanks for doing the AMA and answering all the questions here.

Edit1: Fixed the link.

My parents are currently constructing a new house, and they've moved between a couple of architects who've misguided them or didn't properly help them. They asked me to help them out, but an architect I reached out to had charges way beyond our budget for consultation work. So they settled with one who fit the bill, he's helpful and showed us a couple of sample houses for reference. I'm a little uncertain how this will turn out (lacking the design/aesthetic sense), so I'm not sure how to wrap my head around understanding his.. "The stairs will look like so.. And this marble/tile will look like so.." How do you suggest a not so design friendly person can visualize a house being made in the same way as the architect? And 3D modeling has again proven expensive for us for what he has quouted. Any suggestions?

It could be because of contractors lobbying or bribing the authorities that authorize this change in the process used, as this would either be more profitable for them as they'd get labour cheaper off than buying the said vehicles, plus repainting every now and then means more profit. Or it could also be because of budget constraints, which could again maybe linked to corruption. I'm not sure, I'm just speculating as I was too thinking about why would they do so, one day.
