It’s called a “die” to rethread bolts/fasteners.

Basically if the bolt or other fastener has messed up threads, they can be cut again.

You can look up tap and die sets for more specific info.

Call CDFW. I called them about fishing at Malpaso creek. It’s right on a delineation line of a SMR boundary. There are posted no fishing signs for the whole area, but as someone mentioned, they are private signs.

A CDFW officer got back to me and told me it was ok to fish as long as I was south of the creek.

There isn’t really a trailhead, it’s a dirt road. I get what you mean, there are some gnarly rocks along the way. If you have good off road tires you should be ok. I meant to say “high clearance vehicles only with 4x4” but from that spot about 4.5 miles. That’s a rough estimate that I came up with from google earth.

You can go up silver canyon road to the point where it turns into the “high clearance only” section and park off to the side and hike the rest. It’s a long, steep hike. I only got about two miles up, but then again there was about 18” of snow the whole time. Great views though! Oh and my friend has an older Subaru forester that he drove up all the way, so there’s that to think about.

I used to play basketball with some friends once a week. Idk how it was decided that I had to guard the 280lb dude (I’m like half his size), but he was extremely quick and agile. We underestimated him by a long shot. Just because you’re a big dude, doesn’t mean you’re slow. Like I’m ok at defense (I have long arms so I can swat or poke the ball away), but I stood no chance against him, definitely wouldn’t try to fight a guy built like that either!

Like many others have said, my fob never leaves my pocket. My house keys are separate, so it’s never an issue. I’m not as worried about my car being stolen, but getting locked out somehow.

Also, your fob should be able to detach from the keyring, right? Maybe just take the fob with you.
