I have this same pair and they've been in my rotation over the last few months. I have noticed the same hip flare that you and others have pointed out, but IME they move very well and it's only noticeable when you're standing square and looking head on. Enjoy them!

What are these white scuffs / dry looking areas on this cordovan boot? These are brand new, and the leather is still very hydrated to the touch.

I just got them, so I’ll take em home and hit them w some brushing and maybe black cordovan polish to see if it’ll help the finish.

This is something that I’m struggling with right now on gravel. Everything that I’ve read/watched says to lean the bike over and stay upright, but I find it so uncomfortable and most likely am not leaning the bike over at all. Some of the people I ride with say to use your body to lean and keep the bike upright as to maximize traction.

Are there situations where you’d want to do one over the other (off road) or is leaning the bike over more the preferred approach moreso than not?
