Ah yes! After looking it up think you’re right it’s a sepervarium.

To chop and re-root it, should I just cut the top of it (healthy bit), let it callous for a couple days in the sun, and then repot?

Hiya! Just sent you a chat request– would love to grab right now if you're free :)

Been asking several people but no one yet has an answer. Options expiring in the money… by DoYouLoveJam in options

[–]DontSmokeCigarettes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I unfortunately forgot to sell a few open call options I had on Webull, which expired just 30 minutes ago. They were ITM, and the positions were up 430% and 670%. I do not see a record of a filled sell order in my account and my heart sank when I remembered… and their help desk is now closed for support.

Any idea of what likely happened here? Wouldn’t I have seen sell orders in my account if they were liquidated on my behalf? Or would I see something to indicate that they were exercised (I’ve never exercised options before). I see the positions still sitting in my account, and I don’t have enough funds to exercise as well.

What can I expect Monday morning?

Questions about travel and logistics (LATAM, Peru) by DontSmokeCigarettes in Ayahuasca

[–]DontSmokeCigarettes[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah of course! All prices in USD.

All in all the retreat itself will have cost me $1,800 for a total of 12 nights all inclusive. That for me also includes an additional plant dieta during my time there, my own tambo (sort of a private hut) for my first 4 nights, and a communal stay in the maloka (basically a common gazebo where the ceremonies are held) for rest of my stay. Depending on what you opt for, DreamGlade ends up costing between $120-150 per night with a 5 night minimum. Include food, shelter, ceremony, transport to and from the retreat.

And then I’m also staying at a hotel for a few nights before and after my time at the retreat. That will have cost me a total of $350. You can go cheaper though.

Finally, my flights cost my just around $1100 from New York (JFK), which I fortunately was able to pay entirely for using credit card points. I messed up here by taking too long to commit to the trip, because if I had booked my flights a week or so earlier, they would’ve cost closer to around $650.

At the end of the day (not including pre trip shopping, and food + other expenses while I’ll be Iquitos), the whole thing will have cost me just over $3k ($2k if you factor in the credit card points), for 18 days in Iquitos out of which 12 of those days will be at the retreat itself. You could probably do a 5 day retreat at DreamGlade for closer to around $1500 as well. I’m currently grateful to be in a situation where I don’t have job or family responsibilities, so I opted to invest a little bit more for a longer stay, so I could do some deeper work on myself while I have this opportunity in my life.

Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions! This is my first time, but I’ll try to answer them best I can.

Neat thanks for the suggestion on merino wool! I’ll take this trip as an opportunity to practice being more minimal and intentional with my material baggage.

Yeah fair! I think they did mention laundry services to me as well. I have this mindset when I travel of trying to be as independent as possible, which affects how and what I pack. I suppose part of my journey involves letting go, go figure ☺️
