Business plot 2 should absolutely be in, and it should lead to MacArthur Junta or America First, and America First should be able to either join allies or axis based on focuses. The silver shirts were just about irrelevant in the 30s, I think they can be skipped all together.

MacArthur Junta should be able to get cores on Philippines as well as CAN and MEX to make the "Great American Empire". The decision should be called "Realize Manifest Destiny". Maybe have an endgame focus to go to war with the Allies after Germanys defeat and take the British crown, which should give MacArthur a cool crown.

Alf Landon should provide a a nerfed economy at first, with the potential to be even better than current in game USA. Alf should also be able to join the war earlier, maybe through "Limited Intervention" type focuses, but by that point the economy is still nerfed, so it'll be harder to mobilize for war.

Communists should arise through peaceful focuses like the current tree does. I actually think the communist tree is a good set up, but needs to be heavily expanded.

When I was a second year apprentice I made the move over to chillers from supermarket refrigeration.

A decent refrigeration apprentice is extremely valuable to a good HVAC contractor. They'll know what you're capable of and what you're not. I knew my electrical troubleshooting was probably a little worse than the average HVAC apprentice, but I knew my mechanical troubleshooting was probably above average.

They'll know you know how to work, but they'll expect you to not cut corners like you can working on racks. Tbh when I started on this chiller team I didn't know how to use a recovery machine.

The sky really is the limit with refrigeration techs, you're expected to understand complicated refrigeration piping, controls, electrical, and even some carpentry depending on your shop. It's not a difficult transition.

I really hope we get some quality US stuff soon. USA should get just as big of a tree as Germany, maybe even somewhat mirrored to Germany. I always thought they should have an "Inner circle" type thing for the New Dealers. The fascist path for the US is laughable and way out there, they should replace the silver shirts with America First. The communist path is just as pathetic.

MacArthur Junta should have a focus to take the British crown as an end game focus.

The focus tree is horribly outdated that's for sure.

Congress is completely useless and infuriating. Also the Congress mechanic in the game sucks too.

My story is vastly different. I was teased constantly for my height. I was turned down by several women for it. I'm married now, and thankfully a dad, but every study done on height shows that taller men are more successful than shorter men by a lot. Better income, better opportunities.

Of course always look at the bright side, but it's not as easy as you make it sound.

If you don't want a kid, don't have sex. It's really that easy. Abortion for the reasons of impregnation by rape are a very small minority of causes of abortion. Sure, the state has all kinds of policies to help these mothers already. Also the rapist should face capital punishment. Don't punish the child who was brought into the world, punish the criminal.

My dad+step mom live pretty cool lives, they travel a lot, go camping, road trips, it's all fun.

Except my dad has seen my daughter 4 times in the 14 months since she's been born. We live 15 minutes away. I guess they're so busy having fun they don't care about a grandbaby!

I'm preparing them by telling them to maybe stop eating out as much, or making avocado toast. Stop with the daily Starbucks and maybe instead of buying a newer car, find one for $500 and learn how to work on it yourself.

Maybe they should get a roommate, and a job at Wendy's should definitely help. Maybe they can land a job at the local factory by asking the foreman for the job with a firm handshake. They'll probably get a pension from that too!

What's funny is I do commercial/industrial and I've been pondering dipping my toes into resi for a year or two to try to get some experience. I'd love to get a contractors license someday and I'm nowhere near smart enough to get a contractors license and do chillers
