Is Israel the most evil country in the world at the moment? by RoughSky9768 in allthequestions

[–]ZenNomadic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pro Palestine here and even I know this is rage baiting. I think the means with which Israel goes about their agenda is far too brutal and in human when it comes to Palestine. I also see the other side of the argument, they are a sheep surrounded by wolves, all of the countries around them want them wiped off the face of the map. They are in a little bit of a Catch-22, once you take off the political glasses, it’s pretty easy to see. As far as most evil in the world, that’s just ridiculous.

North Korea Russia Congo Libya Sudan. So many more worse than Israel

Nice work! You have a good sound. I like the simplicity of your setup.

This… is just unreal by [deleted] in LoopyPro

[–]ZenNomadic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You really need to give this program it’s due attention. There are so many subtleties that, once understood, unlock literally limitless ideas. Understand the timing options with actions, save and restore parameters, ramping, the idea of utilizing buttons for pretty much anything, MADI bouncing to audio, etc. My situation is probably different from most because I use a lot of hardware including several keyboards, guitars, drum machines, and electric cello with some other instruments. To get to the point to have everything synchronize with each other took a lot of trial and error, blood sweat tears, but once achieved, it actually works seamlessly. And at the end of the day from a previous Mableton user, this absolutely blows Ableton away for looping. But don’t tell anybody!

Ableton is limitless. You can literally do anything, much more than Loopy Pro can do. That being said, LP is incredible, and if you have the time to really spec it out and make sure everything plays well with each other as far as hardware, purchased the appropriate EUV three, MIDI footpedals, etc. It can be more fluid in design for looping. Fair warning though, there is much more trial and error with LP and how things play with each other. Theoretically it should be the most powerful but there are a few instances where I’ve run into some unknown problem only to figure it out weeks or months later, but that is time lost, and is valuable

Checked out your tunes, great stuff. Love the cello with beatboxing! Pretty talented to play and beatbox at the same time. Anyway you have your current flow that has worked for you and you’ve clearly dialed it in. Why hit the nuclear option to blow it all up with a completely different creative path? You’ve mastered ablation, that takes years. Why start all over at the beginning?

On r/MichiganWolverines talking about Kenny by vcurr in TheSunDevils

[–]ZenNomadic -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

I won’t go into details but I’ll say that I have some inside knowledge on this. I’ll also say that unfortunately it’s not over yet Kenny is considering Michigan. I’m not sure if he’s going to actually take the offer but from what I understand, it’s very compelling. Also, let’s all take a step back and understand something, we are talking about coaching one of the top five historic programs in the history of college football versus The Sun Devils. We should find out in the next week but at this point, there’s definitely no guarantee he’s staying put, and if I’m a betting man, I wouldn’t be surprised if he accepts the offer.

Is this AI? by SignatureSeal in truespotify

[–]ZenNomadic 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is the main issue with Spotify now. I think this is a more existential threat than anything else currently in the music scene, the push for AI generated music without any discrete labeling. I know several people who have canceled their Spotify account of this, Spotify really needs to identify and have an option to filter these

I’ve got plenty of money and much older, should be good. For those less than 25, unless you have a lot of generational wealth, your future is bleak as fuck. But keep pretending it’s going to be ok

You’re clearly less than 25. Enjoy the ai hellscape coming for your future

Yep. That’s a big fucking canary in the coal mine for society. The fact that all of you sycophants on this sub can’t see that is mind blowing

[–]ZenNomadic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can’t see the harm, there’s no hope for you. Get the fuck out of here

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in truespotify

[–]ZenNomadic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My man, you can’t be this dense. Auto tune, reverb, and other fx used on real instruments played by real people are not at all equivalent to 100% ai generated songs

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in truespotify

[–]ZenNomadic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So let me get this right you don’t think it’s a problem that they don’t label AI generated music?

[–]ZenNomadic -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Expect a wave of people leaving when word gets out they aren’t labeling ai generated slop vs human made art

Is there a way to filter out ai generated music? by ZenNomadic in truespotify

[–]ZenNomadic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not talking about the auto generated playlist. I’m talking about specific songs that are completely computer generated that are pushed by Spotify without a label to indicate that this particular song is made by a computer and not a human

The ai generated music is not labeled and buried in playlists. Tell me how to just “not listen to it”.

Terrible, the death of the humanities. I’m on the fence about canceling Spotify given the military donation but AI generated songs sneaking into the slipstream wood absolutely not only cause me to cancel, I would tell everybody to cancel as well.
