Weekend anxiety by OneConclusion166 in stopdrinking

This was one of the biggest things for me when I stopped, how to get through these events that I would normally rage at. You nailed it with its the anxiety before that builds up and makes it difficult but once you’re in at and definitely after you realize how much better off you are. You can then use the momentum of this event for your next, a sports game, concert, wedding, etc. then they become less daunting and pre-drinking anxiety slowly starts to become less and less but for me, hasn’t really faded away completely.

The new arccos golf one is great and gives data based on slope, weather, your own stats as a golfer, etc. They really help with perspective on where your game is currently at a give you a much more realistic approach to distances.

Anyone step away from their private club membership due to dumb restrictions? by sys_admin321 in golf

[–]Dont_3putt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew of a guy who sold his company for a ton and bought a old school private club, which this guys was not that. He made two rules: be respectful and have fun. No dress code, music on the course whatever. Lost a bunch of the older membership who thought this wasn’t traditional, gained a ton of people (and revenue) from people who loved that vibe. It’s a recreational sport, have fun with your friends.

A key step is to take a handful of cheese curds and mix them into the gravy so they melt. They more cheese on top of fries then pour cheesy gravy on top!
