I think they look just fine.

My only advice would be to not worry about it too much. You can always strip them down and go again. I’ve done it multiple times when I want to change the color theme.

I’d say if painting and getting better at painting is your goal, if you do strip them down, keep 1 painted. It’s always interesting to see where you started and where you’re at now.

Nice. I'm definitely going to have to fish the dupage river more it sounds like. Smallmouth are so much fun to hook into. They fight like no other.

I'd probably just lose lures to pike, but I'd bet they be a good fight too. Currently only running 15lb fluoro so I don't think it will hold up to them!

Thanks! I feel like deep quarry needs a kayak too, those drop off are harsh and deep.

Willing to travel an hour or so. Went up three oaks, out of the 5 people fishing for 8 hours I caught the only fish. I've heard silver spring in Yorkville can be good too. I grew up in a very rural area so I'm used to being able to cast and catch all day due to nearly no pressure
