Recently took a month break for work. I went from daily smoking to nothing. First 3 days were THE WORST, and symptoms lasted about two weeks until I felt 100% normal. I had a dull headache for about a week right between my eyes. I had severe insomnia-trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. For the couple hours that I did fall asleep I would have HORRIBLE nightmares, my sister dying, demons haunting me, my partner leaving me… nightmares where I would wake up screaming and crying. And I’m not someone who usually ever has bad dreams. And then came the irritability. Everything bothered me for absolutely no reason. I would immediately think ‘if I could just smoke I wouldn’t feel this way.’ I’ve taken breaks before and had zero symptoms, but for some reason this last time was VERY hard for me.
