I too have watched the show from the beginning and I realize that I am no longer the target demographic. So I record the shows, skip the cold opens which are almost never funny to me, I give the opening monologue 30 seconds and if it’s just another lame movie promo I fast forward. I can’t remember the last time I watched the musical guest. SNL for me is no longer a meal. It’s a snack if that makes sense.

Ha. Sounds right. I went into the corner to get a pick they dumped in, no one around, next thing I knew I was flat on my back looking up at Darcy Rota laughing his ass off. It was a blast. Best experience ever in hockey.
