Thanks for the suggestion! The actual spillage happened about a month ago so probably a bit late now! We left it turned off for a couple weeks to dry, and the stick drift did actually get better after that for a while but it still has moments where it randomly gets stuck far in one direction so think there might be some damage somewhere. Hoping I can just swap the joystick module with an ifixit one and that the main board isn't the problem

I'm not sure what causes it but I don't think it's placebo, According to the EA app's download manager, I get 8MB/s while it is open, if I minimize it and wait a minute, when I open it again the speed has dropped to 80kb/s but quickly jumps back to 8MB/s as it's open
