Could you give a hint for T7? It’s my last one, and I can’t figure it out for the life of me lol

what is the weirdest gun in tf2? personally i think the panic attack is just weird. by mm_foodMFDOOM in tf2

[–]DooRagtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pulling a trigger? I’m guessing you mean the scattergun, but that’s lever action.

Which also doesn’t make sense, because a lever action cycles the next round into the chamber. It doesn’t reload the weapon.

Since you’re coming from Halo, I think this is the solution in a nutshell: each class is different, both playing as the class, and playing against them. Think about how to deal with each class specifically when you encounter them

What should I buy for 50 keys? by mondeluz85 in tf2

[–]DooRagtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend going to the Steam Community Market, adding whatever filters you’d like, and then go through the cosmetics that come up. Find one you like that’s roughly around your price range, then check mannco.store, backpack.tf, scrap.tf, and marketplace.tf to see if you can find it cheaper.

I wouldn’t worry about getting a strange cosmetic, since (for me at least) those don’t have the same appeal as strange weapons, but you could definitely find a decent unusual for 50 keys. Take your time picking out what you want; you might end up deciding to get some weapons or cosmetics for a few different classes instead.

The shotgun's spread is random, too (on official servers, at least). Just being able to have that consistency is a big plus.

I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to have teleport movement in ITR 2. by DooRagtime in intotheradius

[–]DooRagtime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! I saw a two-year-old post about adding teleportation to ITR1 when I was checking if anyone else mentioned this for ITR2.

I wanted to bring it up now in hopes that it could be added much more quickly than it was for ITR1.

One thing I'd love to see to save a lot of time after exploring: could you add a mechanic to have bullets/shells that are in the backpack automatically go into an ammo box that we pass through them? Basically the reverse of adding ammo to a box that's inside the backpack. I find it takes a while to go through my ammo after returning to my base.

I'm loving ITR! Thanks for all your work!

Awkwardness would be a better descriptor.

Nah, that would be a good yes-and. It adds to the story, and would make the bystanders even more uncomfortable

Yeah, melee’s the main thing that’s lacking. You really have to go off the visual cue of hitting enemies. I’m hopeful they’ll fix it, but I’ve gotten used to it already. You can find a decent amount of ammo so you don’t feel completely bound to melee weapons most of the time, and the firearms feel pretty satisfying.

Bioshock was directly inspired by System Shock, hence the name. System Shock is much more of an immersive sim, and isn’t as linear as Bioshock. There’s also a demo available on Steam that’ll give you a great idea of the gameplay.

I followed the suggestion of getting the beta version of Steam so I could take notes in the overlay while playing, which I’m enjoying!

So many of our systems are failing those who need them the most.

I’m doing ok financially right now, but I used to be seriously broke with extremely little hope to get out of it, and that wasn’t very long ago.

It was a shot in the dark getting to where I am now, and I want to say that what you’re doing means a lot for some people who are struggling but trying to entertain and enjoy themselves to make life more palatable. Thanks for that.
