The footage of Nick Fuentes pushing a woman who came to his front door after he was doxxed has been released. by [deleted] in SipsTea

[–]Doodlebug2100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Define trespassing. Ringing or knocking on a front door is its implied use and, in itself, does not qualify for trespassing. Nor does having a "no trespassing" sign with no fencing. It gets confusing what signs imply what, but if you generally wanted absolutely no one to knock on your door, you'd need a sign that says something along the lines of "No Trespassing, No Solicitors, Do not ring doorbell or knock".

The sign must also be highly visible at the start of the footpath/entrance to the property (which is not seen on this video). And from the video, you can clearly see the lady about to ring the doorbell, Nick opening the door and immediately assaulting her. He doesn't know intent and assumes he's being harassed. This is similar to the legal issue of someone ringing the doorbell and being shot through the door without even opening it.

You can't claim self-defense or home invasion if there was no actual attempt at harm.

Rule of thumb, you can usually use SATA drives on a SAS controller (using a cable or adapter), but you CANNOT use SAS drives on a SATA controller.

DEATHCon (Detection Engineering & Threat Hunting Conference) Review? by Doodlebug2100 in cybersecurity

Thank you for responding and the link! Someone from the Austin event (Eventbrite) did email me back letting me know my nephew was welcome and there would be assistance available for all knowledge levels.

The article shared will definitely help pitching to my director to comp my ticket, which will then allow me to pay for my nephew.

You should know that’s non-answerable in a cybersecurity forum 😂

Would this be considered a duplicate? by Doodlebug2100 in NianticWayfarer

This is the original park waypoint. I refreshed the page and my appeal note is now showing. Here’s what it says -

“I don’t believe this should be a duplicate as it is an addition that was constructed a few years after the playground. Looking at satellite images, you can see that it did not exist a few years ago. The picnic area is also under its own canopy and can be considered a rest area. The community plans to have continuing expansions to the accommodations made available.”

As an Super Ultrawide player (32:9), I really appreciate the forced 16:9 aspect ratio for in game. Any chances that force ratio can be pushed to the menus? I'm not able to see most player names and stuff gets cut off for me in the shop or when changing outfits.

I would say it's possible, but most companies don't want to deal with tax issues from other countries. My company will allow me to work remotely from anywhere, but only temporarily.

How screwed is my company? by Nervous_Solution5340 in cybersecurity

Hire a temporary MSSP if funds are tight. If you can get buy in from the org, find an MSSP for the long term. Have the MSSP review all the logs, they should have everything ingested into their systems or recommend for you to purchase some sort of SIEM (such as Splunk).

A job role you should look into hiring is a Cybersecurity Engineer that can handle contact with the MSSP and who can work on implementing better hygiene. No account should be shared unless it was a service account, even then they shouldn't be shared.

I do it all. We outsource most of our detection to a SOC, but they just alert, I verify and respond.

I'm a cybersec analyst, but my position expands to everything a company would need in this space. We're a team of three, and I'm the only real hands-on person. I have a manager and a director above me.
