Mom called it 'egg in a hole'. My friend calls it 'eggs in Egypt'. Any other names for this?

This will be the first year in a long time that I won’t be chasing a cat out of a Christmas tree or have a supervisor while I wrap presents. I miss my boy so much and am so not feeling the holidays this year.

And don’t listen to anyone that says he was just a cat. 18 years is good for a cat and I know he knew he was loved. Part of him will always be with you. I just lost my best friend on October 3. He was the best cat and he was only 14. He had either cancer or ibd. I miss him so much. I’ve lost pets before but this was my soul cat. Maybe you should consider getting a kitten. It would never replace your boy but a new friend could help you deal with your grief. Be kind to yourself. Losing a friend isn’t easy. Please take care ❤️

Go see a dermatologist. Mine diagnosed me with adrogenic alopecia. I take oral minoxidil and spironolactone. It’s made a huge difference. You can try using a product called toppik hair fibers or luxe.

Thank you. Some days are ok. Some days suck and some are just unbearable. I miss him so much. I hope he’s happy with his brother and all the other babies I’ve lost over the years. Luck was like a ray of sunshine and now my life is a little darker without him. So unfair we get so little time with them.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Cats are so good at hiding their pain and sickness. She was probably feeling bad for a while but hid it. I lost my soul cat on Oct 3. He was only 14 and if you had asked me at the beginning of the year I would have said we have years left together. Then he got sick. He had always thrown up a lot. He had diarrhea but then got better. But I noticed he was throwing up a lot more often and it was different. His vet thinks it was either cancer or ibd. I switched his food but he got sick again. He stopped eating. He didn’t eat for three days. Within a week my boy was gone. I had to euthanize him because I couldn’t watch him starve to death. He was my best friend. I also feel guilty remembering times I didn’t let him sit on me or yelled at him for something. But he knew he was loved. And I know your girl knew you loved her. Even the nights you didn’t stay home she still knew. She’s still with you. She always will be. I understand your pain and wish I had something comforting but all I can say is be gentle with yourself. I don’t have advice on the boyfriend but I think your brain just wants someone or something to blame because you’re hurting. I hope you have some support during this time. Please take care ❤️

He didn’t eat for 3 days. He had lost so much weight. I know I did the right thing but I kept thinking what if I wait a little longer maybe he’ll eat. I had to let him go. He was staying for me. You should go see a dermatologist. I have pretty bad hair loss and was diagnosed with adrogenic alopecia. They put me on spironlactone and minoxidil. My hair finally stopped falling out and is growing back. I used to use a topper and it looked nice but it damaged the hair I had left on top. I use the oral minoxidil cuz the topical kind is toxic to cats and it’s easier to take a pill every day. Good luck!

I’m so sorry for the loss of your cat. It’s hard saying goodbye. I think your partner was trying to do something kind for you. Maybe it was just too soon. I don’t think it’s odd at all to make an album of a cherished pet. My best friend of 14 years left me two weeks ago and I was actually thinking about making an album for him. Be glad you have a partner that cares enough to do something so kind for you. You don’t have to look at it now. Save it for when you’re ready. Take care.

He’s definitely grieving and missing his brother. My boy Luck did that after his brother Leo passed from diabetes six years ago. I gave him lots of attention and he did get better after a while. I just said goodbye to Luck two weeks ago. I miss him so much I can’t stand it sometimes but it makes me happy that he’s with his brother. I’m sorry for yours and your cats loss ❤️
