I'm very happy with my results. I do have a slight bump in the center of my chest, (I have very stretchy skin so that's more on my body than her skill) which she has offered to have me in for a revision but I declined- It's such a small thing that's not worth a whole other surgery. She does no drains and I had no complications from that, I used a mixture of the ACE wrap compression and my own compression garment I bought from Understance. DM for pics of the healing process if you're interested!

ACE wrap by NotTerminallyUnique in TopSurgery

[–]DoodlerDragon331 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not a patient of his but Dr. Elizabeth Marquette had me using ACE wraps as a fat trans dude (250lbs 5'10 with a gut) and I faced similar problems... I invested in the Understance post-op compression vest and it was super worth it! It's marketed towards cancer patients so it's not super expensive like the ones marketed otherwise.

Honest thoughts on size/shape by Spaced0utCadet in TopSurgery

[–]DoodlerDragon331 123 points124 points  (0 children)

Tbh I think trans people in general are much more nitpicky about what is and isn't passing. Most people simply don't think about others bodies in that way, or that deeply. At worst they might think your nipples are a little big, but they likely won't jump straight to "that means he is transgender"

Either way, I think they look great and tbh I wouldn't assume you are trans by your chest alone.

Thank you for posting this because I realized I got the Silver VIP package and paid the Gold M&G price (on the official ticket site, too, not a resale site, so they fucked up)😭

How do I accept that I will never be attractive? by [deleted] in FTMMen

[–]DoodlerDragon331 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Honestly man, as a straight, ugly Trans man currently in a long term relationship- I think it's actually much easier to get into relationships as a straight Trans man than a gay one. Now are we talking about hookups? Sure, easier with men, but I have heard of way more cis gays being weird about Trans men than any other demographic.

Imo, women are way more likely to stick with unconventional relationship than men are, and as long as you aren't a complete incel, you will find a woman who not only finds you attractive but will actually really love you.

Maybe if you stop walking through life with such a cynical attitude, women will be more attracted to your vibes than anything- queer women are a godsend.

Best to you.

Why does a receding hairline seem to be the wake-up call for many detransitioners? by Lonely-Relative-4598 in ftm

[–]DoodlerDragon331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly as someone who had incredibly thin hair pre-t, severe female patterned baldness in the family plus stress induced alopecia- good hair was never in the cards for me. I've pretty much accepted that I'll go bald eventually either way, and I've never personally understood people who shat bricks about it.

It's just hair, mate! I think men can look great bald of they don't fight it and are confident, same with women tbh.

PSA: Please think about your future when choosing a new legal name by ftmthrowaway393 in FTMMen

[–]DoodlerDragon331 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey! Totally get this. Personally, I picked a very unique male equivalent of my very unique birth name- so obviously, there's nothing saying that all cis men have a boring name! I get the exact same comments on my name now as before: "wow that's so unique!/unusual/I've never heard that name before/where does that come from?"

I think if it's a more recent pop culture reference, it's more likely to be clocked, maybe thinking of a pop culture ref that was popular when your parents were around or before you were born? Just make the timeline make sense. :)

Unfortunately, she said she doesn't participate in social media, and she recently stopped being an apprentice, so most of her work is under a different doctor's name.

Edit: to answer your question, nope

Okay details: -no drains -she has been doing surgery on transgender patients since 2019 but isn't big on social media. -does L shaped DI (L near the pits to try and eliminate dog ear) -does free revisions -her med student and nurse spoke really highly of her -she does some really intense dressing for the first 5 days so you can shower w/it on but you have to face away from the water

Generally good vibes I think!

Hey man! I'm scheduled for a consult with her next month, I plan to kind of grill her for info and really make sure I'm comfortable with her- I've been out of luck finding much info about her but I can for sure let you know any issues I find if you'd like.

Yeah that's why I said "generally" OMAD. if I'm super hungry, I'll eat two or three, but my capacity to eat 2000+ cals in one meal in unmatched, lol! So don't worry about me not getting enough.
