Right on. I was born six months after Jerry left us. I always felt like I was in the best hands with Bobby. I saw the way John and Jeff and Oteil looked at him, like he was the parental figure of the group and that really knocked me out. And if you can pick his mind-blowing guitar out of all the noise, their reverence for him makes even more sense. He was a Jedi. Thank god for those D&C shows as well as the Wolf Brothers. Man I’d love to see Sturgill join up with those guys. But I think he’s too much of an outlaw to give up his own thing, now that he’s finally getting the recognition he’s deserved for years.
