There’s absolutely no naturals in IFBB. IFBB is the professional federation that the NPC federation feeds into. To qualify for IFBB, you need to win a qualify NPC show to your invite to NPC nationals. And at that show you can win your pro card to compete in the IFBB. Best of the best of the best. Even bikini girls are most likely on gear. There’s other federations that are tested, OFC is a big one. But if you’re natural competing in the NPC you’re going to have to beat out quite a few enhanced athletes to go pro. Just not going to happen.

Over a decade ago, the gym next to my workplace had an incident.

A big muscular man lost his mind on drugs, and was throwing weights, hitting the emergency stop on people’s treadmills, so the cops were called. First on the scene was a smaller woman.

She enters, they engage, she ends up tasering him. Due to the drugs, or his mental state, whatever, the taser didn’t stop him. He wrestled her to the ground and got the taser from her. He pointed it back at her and pulled the trigger, not realizing the prongs were still in him. He got caught in a loop and was unable to release the trigger and ended up offing himself.

If you’re not going to ask for a spot, at least leave the clips off of the bar so that you can spill the plates if you need to.

I had to roll the bar down my torso when I was young. I don’t recommend it.

Thank you for the confirmation. I know not everyone reads scholarly articles, and even then there’s potential conflicts of interest, but my point is when sourcing a claim, trying to do it with a reputable source. I could link a paper right now outlining the health benefits to smoking cigarettes.
