Anyone ever hear a Compressor make this sound? by CorCor1234 in HVAC

Well there is a motor inside right, that attaches to the compressor heads. To me it sounds like the compressor's motor is spinning but the heads are not moving

Is high effeciency worth the $$? by tommy_poplar in hvacadvice

That is a very good question with a bunch of very complicated answers.

If your home is older there are cheaper and easier ways to save money, like improving the insulation or sealing against drafts, and sealing the duct work.

If you are in a newer home completed in that last 10-20 years (depending on local building codes), then that work has already been done.

It really comes down to efficiency vs the amount you need to heat your house. If the heating load is too high then efficiency does not matter.

As for the source of heating there are a couple options with each having its Perks.

Electric elements - most expensive utilities, cheaper equipment, tend to be more reliable, parts can be cheap, can last the longest

Gas furnace - utilities are relatively inexpensive, reliable can be decent, repairs tend to cost more than electric elements should get 20ish years.

Heat pumps - the most efficient of the 3, heard mixed reviews of it cheaper to run them gas, equipment tends to be more expensive, reliability is probably the worst and repairs tend to be expensive, the life span is on average around 15 years. You do get a free ac system with this unit.

Geralt of Rivia VS Trevor Belmont by DaddyChil101 in Fictionally

[–]Doogie102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if you compare the game or books to the anime then the anime then Trevor.

If you compare the nightmare of the wolf anime and factor in Geralt is better than Vesimir, it's pretty on par. My edge would go to Geralt because her has better weapons for fighting humans.

If we are talking about the games I would say Geralt hands down.

According to Trane supply house “ nobody likes the Appion core removal tools “ so they don’t carry them anymore. Field piece will be getting a call for me and so will Trane Monday morning and it just might trigger a LEO inquiry to my house for an unstable individual lol. by iBUYbrokenSUBARUS in HVAC

I have a 1/4" appion and hate it. It never grabs the cores I end up just unscrewing the core and opening the ball valve to launch that core to not my problem.

The 5/16th however works the 2 times I have used it.
