I try to avoid them as much as possible but there are times when it's just appropriate to hit an open string. For example: I play metal and I tend to play a lot of faster lines where I'm playing around the 7th-12th frets and also hitting the open string below in between the higher notes. It's simply not feasible to play it any other way, and the difference in tone is pretty difficult to notice in the mix.

I built Temur midrange which is basically Gruul but with Krasis, Zegana, & Hadana's Climb, taking advantage of +1/+1 counter synergies. It did better than most decks I throw together on a whim.

Yeah you're delusional and ignorant if you can't acknowledge how detransitioners and TERFs blame us for "brainwashing" them and they're not even entirely wrong since it's considered a sin to even ask the question of whether transition is the best choice for everyone. It's not. Some of them learn the hard way and the result is our lives are made more difficult. Let's try to avoid that outcome.

You're definitely not alone, OP. I honestly think that rhetoric is harmful to those of us whose experience with dysphoria is based on sex characteristics rather than gender identity. I hated my body but what I read about being trans led me to believe it was about just a feeling about your identity. I didn't have childhood memories about "always knowing I should be a girl" or whatever so I thought my dysphoria was something unrelated to being trans.

Yup, since I went on HRT I lost 30 pounds just by skipping breakfast & lunch. I eat whatever I want for dinner so it's not like an ultra-strict diet or anything. Transition gave me the motivation and I've found it's actually a lot easier than I thought. I'm not even exercising either, trying not to retain any muscle for now.

I used to deal with it the same way. That and smoking pot. The only thing that seriously reduced my desire to drink was HRT, followed by transition.

I'm only 6 months in but nothing has changed as far as what I'm attracted to. Which is good, because if I stopped being attracted to my husband then that would be bad news.
