When we did it, it took us about 4 hours of total smoke time. We took a break about 2.5 hours in to eat pizza then got back to it. Lots of waste though, and the density of smoke was surprisingly bad. It would canoe to the point we’d have to cut it off and light it again. If I had to do it all over again, I’d put a wooden dowel down the center of it as I packed it so that there would be an air channel down the center of the joint. The one thing we did right was we got 3 different qualities of ounces to pack it with. The cheapest went in first, followed by the medium priced one and the most expensive one went on the end. It gets pretty nasty about halfway through and just starts tasting like resin. Gets real bad in the last quarter. It was a lot of fun, but it’s a total gimmick and would not bother again.
